I heard Pele played whilst dead for 3 years. Only scored 323 goals during that period.Well, Trautmann played a cup final with a broken neck!

If only he'd been a bit taller (well, and alive)I heard Pele played whilst dead for 3 years. Only scored 323 goals during that period.
I’d still take him to score more chances than PelkasIf only he'd been a bit taller (well, and alive)
All softies these days
If anyone seriously thinks Connolly is out because a ball bounced off his toe too hard then I don't know what to tell them..
Someone really thought coyle was playing with broken ribs?
Where did I say that? Anyone that thinks Rosenior is completely honest in interviews is kidding themselves.
They’re bruised, if they were broken he wouldn’t be playing.
When Connolly is deemed fit to play, I presume he will be told to make a nuisance of himself but under no circumstances kick the ball.
Dangerous things, those balls. Must avoid them when out on a field.OK, but why are you confident in saying that if he does have a broken toe that it is not due to a ball bouncing off of it?That he didn't break his toe because the ball bounced off it. That doesn't mean I don't think his toe is broken or that that is what is keeping him out.

Maybe a finger if you jar it in a particular way but not a toe.Because you don't break a bone from a football bouncing off it.Maybe a finger if you jar it in a particular way but not a toe.
I mistimed a volley once (well I always mistimed volleys but once in particular) it came off my toe with it extended in a certain way and I was hobbling around for a couple of weeks with a sprain.
I wouldn't say it was impossible but a pretty rare likelihood.
It's not the fact that he's done it I'm concerned about, more the fact he's still not available and it just seems to be one setback after the other, at a time he really needs to be proving himself.

Don't you think it's more likely he has kicked an immovable object like a wall, kerb, concrete pillar?
A sprain. Not a break. Stop trying to argue this lol.
He's had setbacks in the timeframe for his recovery, something pretty common with broken toes because treatment is almost impossible.
