Seems that Chelsea have a strong track record for protecting sex abusers and *****philes - didn't they allow Graham Rix to return to coaching after his conviction.... plus I don't get what takes precedent in law if an IP Signs a confidentiality clause but then goes public with a claim ,
Yes I know , my point is what would have happened if the player went public about abuse without Chelsea waiving their clause
Was reading that. There are going to be repercussions for some clubs. Chelsea have put themselves in an awkward position with that recent payment.
Does seem ironic that there are so many instances of *****philia against boys in an industry where no present player has been able to 'come out'. Discuss
Not much I don't think, the only thing could really do is go after him to recover the original payment
As, presumably, a heterosexual man, do you identify with *****s that abuse young girls? My point being there is no parallel between homosexuality and *****s that abuse boys.
It seems to be weirdly common that it happens to young boys though doesn't it? I mean it's ****ed up whatever, but why do young boys seem to be targeted more by male *****s than young girls? Hard to get your head around.
Have you forgotten Oxford and Rotherham? And that's only very recent history. https://www.channel4.com/news/oxford-abuse-operation-bullfinch-report-thames-valley-police http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/rotherham-...three-brothers-jailed-total-102-years-1546246
Maybe there aren't actually more young boys targeted, I dunno, but it seems surprisingly common, especially when it's people abusing their positions close to children such as the priests, scout leaders and now football coaches.
Jimmy Saville wasn't fussy. I've no idea what the statistics are for boys v girls but I don't think it's particularly relevant to the point at hand either.
No and neither do the majority of gay men abuse boys. Actually *****philia is defined as targeting prepubescent victims, and in that area, I believe it isn't orientated by sexuality, in fact many class *****philia as an alternative orientation, ie hetro, gay, bi, *****, etc. What I have read, the football victims are actually bit older and so not (as the media like to lazily use) victims of *****philia. I can't believe that males who abuse older boys don't have feelings for males generally. I guess what I was originally questioning (among other things) was whether there is a relationship between those not feeling able to come out in the football community but then as they become into a perceived position of power, ie coaches/ scouts/ kit men etc they then n go on to abuse very vulnerable youth players to satisfy those suppressed urges? Whatever, it does confirm yet again that in whatever field, wherever you have unvetted and unmonitored power imbalances ( and particularly against children) you will find sexual abuse occurred. ie pop stars, politicians, worldwide politicians, scout leaders (world wide), church (worldwide), children's homes(worldwide). Now its English football, it will be a worldwide issue. I have no doubt that it will be every sport. I'm sure at some point not so far away it will be vulnerable apprentices across the UK workforce. If anyone asks about my credentials to make such bold statements, on City Independent when everyone thought Saville should be knighted, I was the one who outted him ( at least on CI)
But again, though the media will use it, this isn't *****philia (ie pre pubescent). Its adults (in these cases. Asian males),preying on vulnerable young people and they certainly target one gender
the media uses *****philia completely wrong half the time it annoys me adam johnson was or is not a peadophile
