Green Dragon is very ancient and atmospheric and there used to be a coaching inn type thing with latticed leaded windows(?) up near the market cross which used to be OK.I think The Cross Keys is the only Wymondham pub I've been to less.

I'm going back 20-25 yearsYea, that pub is the Cross Keys. Went in their the first time we moved to Wymondham. Was dead, with old men sat on their own drinking at the bar. Smelt all musty. We walked straight out again.

Sounds a belting idea!I'm going back 20-25 years
All this talk of pubs and ale. I'm off to the Red Lion to watch the tide recede.![]()

Anyway, I got to go to Nodge early on Monday, but the stupid X44 buses from here mean either cutting it very fine or having an hour+ to spare. So I thought of a fry up and mug of tea in the Moonlight Café opposite Anglia Square. Googled it and BOOM my old friends the fry-up police have done a top drawer review, with photos, etc
How comprehensive is this, would you say?

Tried a "Chinese fruit" for lunch. I think it was called a "Pomelo" Suppose to be a cross between an orange and a grapefruit. I don't think it was ripe/past it's best.
