I'm going to stick stuffing inside a Pork loin joint, and slow roast it. Get a nice Crackling, do Roasties, Yorkies, and a few veg.

Just hoiked one of those out of the fridge. From Lidl, as I recall and grape variety is 'grillo' which I've never knowingly tried before.
    First impressions <applause> <ok> <cheers>

I can smell the Pork loin joint cooking in the oven! I cut up an Onion, and apples, and stuck them underneath the joint. Put in Bay and Rosemary. All from the garden. And a couple of garlic cloves. Going to do crispy Roasties, make up some Yorkies, and do a kind of Cauliflower, Broccoli, leek and pea side dish, with a cheesy white sauce. Then make up a gravy. Can't wait for this!

Edit: just decided to stick a mini bottle of Red wine in, and a posh Pork stock cube.

If you like your ice cream - try Cafe Gelato on Opie Street next door to the Thai restaurant. £2 for a small tub, but REALLY nice!!!

Half a Euro per scoop / cone on the kiosks on the streets of Podgorica, Montenegro two years ago <wah> - and up to 32 different flavours to go at :emoticon-0115-inlov
Meanwhile, back to reality in Blighty, slow cooker is making it's seasonal debut tonight. Loads of root veg, including sweet potato <ok>, chicken thighs, haricot beans, split peas and pearl barley, onion, mushroom, peppers, garlic, a tin of mushroom soup, seasoning galore and some chicken stock. No rules!

Yes Cromer, I got the taste for it in Croatia a couple of years ago.
Now on my way to CR, but cooking Oriental Honey Chicken when I get home with brown rice. Adding peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and pineapple chunks.

Yes, I added some cajun spice and ginger to the cornflour that you use to coat the chicken and it gives it a bit of a kick. Also used toasted sesame oil for frying.

I'm still burping off a wonderful Vegetable Ceylon I created some time ago.

My dear old father pretended he was Irish, but there is little doubt in my mind he was Indian.

And I now have another 3 healthy meals in the freezer to enjoy at a later date. Total cost - around £5.
I walked through Castle Mall 'Food Coourt' on my way to the game yesterday at about 1.30 and I was astonished by the number of families eating there and at what cost????

I'm going to start making a Chicken and Veg casserole soon. Pack a load of Veg in it, and slow cook it so the chicken falls off the bone. Going to make the gravy thick so I can do some crispy roasties with it to mop up the sauce! Leave it cooking on low while we go for a swim.
