Ones organised by FIFA and the other UEFA so guess different people have to agree - UEFA don't use it in the Champions League as we know - extra officials preferred.

Didn't realise that. Those extra officials are laughable.

Officials behind the line are only used to see if the ball goes behind the line aren't they? That's pretty stupid when a computer can give you the correct decision in a split second with pin point precision.

But those officials behind the line could be especially useful for other things, PK decisions in particular. With officials ever finding themselves left behind the action an extra set of eyes close up and a different viewpoint can only be a good thing.

Based on that list at the start, I think Denmark and Slovenia are two dark horses that could make the quarter finals at least. Get down to William Hill now - tell them I sent you.

You'd probably get your stake money back if they actually took the bet.

I think they can contribute towards penalties and corners too can't they?

I reckon Italy, Poland and Wales would be the worst draw for England. Now watch it happen...

In group B - which is good news. (Group E is harder, for confusing reasons.)

What a load of overblown nonsense, it's just not interesting watching blokes struggling to open kinder eggs and reading out bits of paper. It should be computerised so that they can just announce the results after showing us some decent clips of all the competing nations.

Portugal, Iceland and France are the big winners so far, with pot 2 to be drawn. Italy the one to avoid, surely.

Ukraine or Russia wouldn't be a bad draw here.

Groups A and F are completely powderpuff. Group E is the deathly one. C and D should be tasty too.

ROI won't be happy.
