I do not think that this is too far of the mark, I think itwas the timing of the deal and not the money.
They were far quicker around the pitch than our players, they were just crap at shooting and the final pass, until they scored.
Hayden's performance might be being inflated a bit by the fact he came on late when most would have been exhausted by the heat. Same perhaps for Abel, although his attitude was the main positive.
Yep, I don't disagree with any of that, in fact it's pretty much in line with my thoughts - throwing more money is a gamble, but it could of included Hernandez on a loan, as we would have recouped some and, possibly, given him a foreign window to exhibit the talents SB bought him for. But it is what it is.
If a club plays a match on saturday the manager should analyse the play on sunday looking at individual's play and play in different areas On Monday the manager should talk to the individual players about their performances Tuesday to Friday there should be work on different areas of the pitch both defensively and in attack
Sam Allardyce just pointed out that possession isn't important it's what you do with it Steve Bruce seems to think differently
It's bang on! If you want a new car! You sell the one you've got if you can't afford to run two!! Or four if we're talking about strikers?
But you also ensure you have a new car lined up before you sell the old one, otherwise you run the risk of spending weeks walking everywhere! You line up a new house before selling the old one, so that you don't end up homeless.
Or possibly end up with 2 homes and a hell of a lot of carrying costs and the possibility of having to sell the original home at a reduced price.
'Big Sam' - also pointed out in his opinion, that the two most important players on the pitch are the 'forward & goalkeeper' ...
And those people aren't 'doing something wrong'? Anyone who has any financial smarts will ensure they aren't ever in a position where they're obligated to purchase the new property before the old one is sold.
