You and your craven party might be happy to sit on the sidelines and happily watch 100s of Thousands of Innocent Syrian civilians being slaughtered but there are those that wanted to help and prevent this.

A bit like Libya then Johnny Boy?

A NATO led campaign with Britain lending support to the Americans and French in averting an even greater crisis than the one that Libya faces now. I remember Red Ed backing this particular campaign at the time and it's despicable that he has attacked the Coalition for doing this simply for cheap electioneering. But yes I forgot only the Labour Party are the Guardians of morality and only they can decide which Wars are just or not!![]()
Out of interest JWM, where do you get your curious use of capitalisation from?
Genuine q

Sorry, you didn't answer my question - would the Tories under IDS have teamed up with the yanks to invade Iraq or not?

You know just as well as I do that IDS would have been up Bush's arse a mile and would have invaded at the drop of the hat, absolutely no question whatsoever.
Yes Blair was wrong to do what he did, but it is shocking for any Tory supporter to even attempt to grab the morale higher ground regarding the issue because they would have been just as bad, if not worse

You talk complete Bollux!
There were many Tory members who were against the War, you do not have right to determine the moral high ground, no more than I do! The fact is that Bliar had already promised Bush that we would get involved long before he tried to sell it to the British people.![]()

Oh and Bliar originally sold it as WMD when in fact it was about Regime Change from the very start! The War was sold on a false prospectus and an innocent man died as a consequence of Bliars propaganda. That man has blood on his hands and yet you can't see it because you are so fookin blinkered.
I've never said what he did wasn't wrong - in fact scroll up a bit, take off your fookin blinkers and you'll see where I said that it was wrong.
I'm not making excuses for him, I'm just saying the Tories would have done exactly the same thing so have absolutely no rights to the morale high ground on the matter, much as they think they like to think they do.
That is conjecture at best and you know it!

No it isn't - did you not read the part about how IDS (Tory leader at the time) and future leader dodgy Dave both voted in favour of the invasion of Iraq? They thought it was a good idea and the right thing to do - what part of that don't you get?
These are facts, not conjecture![]()
