A NATO led campaign with Britain lending support to the Americans and French in averting an even greater crisis than the one that Libya faces now. I remember Red Ed backing this particular campaign at the time and it's despicable that he has attacked the Coalition for doing this simply for cheap electioneering. But yes I forgot only the Labour Party are the Guardians of morality and only they can decide which Wars are just or not!

I was against the invasion and I remember signing a petition at the time which was presented to my local Tory MP in SE Cambridgeshire.
You know just as well as I do that IDS would have been up Bush's arse a mile and would have invaded at the drop of the hat, absolutely no question whatsoever.

Saddam and Gaddafi were undoubtedly baddies. Iraq and Libya would equally undoubtedly be better places for their people today had they not been deposed however. Some bright spark decided that they would have orderly elections and the loser would do a Goodluck Jonathan and shake the victor by the hand. Well they didnae!

It's common knowledge that IDS (Tory leader at the time) voted in favour of the invasion, as did future leader dodgy Dave so the Tories as a party were always going to vote in favour
And as for dodgy Dave and his heart of gold in wanting to go to war with Syria to save the "100s of thousands of innocent civilians being slaughtered" - how come he's given refuge to less than ONE HUNDRED of the FOUR MILLION refugees so far? Germany have pledged asylum to more than 30,000, the heartless sausage eating bastards.
Oh and Bliar originally sold it as WMD when in fact it was about Regime Change from the very start! The War was sold on a false prospectus and an innocent man died as a consequence of Bliars propaganda. That man has blood on his hands and yet you can't see it because you are so fookin blinkered.

I happen to know IDS he used to work in the same company as me and he is a very decent and honourable man. He voted on the basis that there was supposed to be vast quantities of WMD held by Saddam and it was able to be deployed against us within 45 Minutes! Hans Blix did not find any such thing and was denied more time to carry out his search. The UN denied authorisation for Bush and Bliar to prosecute an invasion yet they went ahead any way. You base your whole arguement as if IDS knew the whole facts when in fact as we later discover the whole Country was kept in the dark as to Bliars true motives for conducting an illegal War. I say again that you base your whole arguement on conjecture as it suits your own twisted version of events.
