"And try to make an impact when I'm played"

And don't the groundsmen know it!
Must be a nightmare trying to fill in hundreds of lard arsed shaped holes in the pitch.

Jozy is just not good enough for the PL it is to quick for him, it was at Hull, and it has been here, he needs to go as soon as possible and good luck to him, and please Gus forget about Boring i he is a T**T who just played his heart out for us to get away, let the T**T stew in his own juice, Rodgers doesnt rate him that,s for sure.

Tell you what mate, I for one would be very disappointed if Gus did go back in for Borini.
Yes I know he did canny for us when we needed him.
But he always made it plain we were just a stepping stone.
I don't want players coming here as if we are a last resort. (Whilst looking for the quickest way out!)

As far as I'm concerned Borini can rot where ever he ends up <ok>

I don't think Borini's ever fulfilled a long term contract and he's only stayed for a few months at some places ....... shame for such a young player.

I'd prefer it if we never saw him again and he went off to Italy.

Despite Wembley etc I really believe he'd be booed, by some, at the SOL if he came on for Liverpool, I'd rather not have to witness that.

Still think it would be best to clear three of the four forwards out. Altidore, Fletcher and Graham. I think the jury is still out on Wickham. To make a big impact on the Premier League it's all about goals, goals, goals. If we don't address the problem we will be forever hoping for that fourth bottom of the league position every year. So we have the first opportunity coming up if he wants to move on in January....bye...bye

The jury is still out on Wickham, but you would keep him over Fletcher?
Sorry mate but Fletcher is head and shoulders our best striker.
Didn't get the best striking service for Scotland earlier and was substituted near the end.
But he set up others for great chances.
2 or 3 perfect layoffs for Naismith who continually fluffed his chances. (Including a clever back heel, where if the positions had been reversed I would have laid odds Fletcher would have buried the chances.)

I'd still be listening to offers for all 4 of them in January as it stands. Hope I've changed my opinion by then as it means they're getting goals.

It all depends on who we could bring in though! Who, realistically could we get, who could settle in instantly and do the bizzo????

Well I'm no scout fella so who knows? We'll have targets though fella, I don't doubt that. But we need to freshen up. Looks like nobody wants Graham so we'll be stuck till he walks. But Jozy seems prepared to leave so would be the logical player to try and actively sell. Lets get shot and let Gus bring his own man, then we can reassess in the summer i say. If we can shift one and bring one in in Jan I'd be happy. Jozy the preference for me as it stands.

And "that" is the $64,000 question. <ok>
I don't think we will ever be lucky again like we were with SKP.
We paid far too much for Wickham at a time we were desperate for a proven goal scorer.

Oh to find another Diego Costa, have to say I have been impressed with his start, landed running and doesn't look to stop anytime soon. :)

I'm just basing my thoughts on the last couple of years. Yes, I accept Fletcher got off to a good start with us but I would expect that for paying what some 10 to 12 million for him. He had a good game against Stoke but that is the first one for a long while. Don't get me wrong it's not that I dislike him....same as Altidore but if we ever are going to push forward I think we need better. Fletchers injury record is poor. Also concerned that Gus had to drop him to get him fired up.

Wickham as we know has potential but is it going to come over a sustained period of time and that's why I think the jury is out on him. All will be a mute point if he walks which I think he will. Maybe not enough bling at Sunderland for the lad....

To get four new stikers in January is totally unrealistic. It's going to need a couple of windows at least....but lets address this problem starting in January. Altidore's comments have given us the opportunity to start. I think we can hopefully recover some of our outlay if he goes to the MLS...

I think we could get a massive chunk of our £6million back from Sounders or DC United.

For all that we know he's pony, they rate the lad over there.

I don't think he wants to go back to MLS though. I think he probably wants to stay in Europe and expand his game. But his standing on the Continent isn't bad at all, and we might easily recover some decent cash from there.

Maybe back to Holland, he's already flopped in Spain.

Our best bet is to try and swap him with someone from a Dutch club, they won't have the money we'd like for him back, maybe a swap with PSV for Maher or summat like that would work, we get a creative centre mid, they get a striker who is at his level and will score plenty.

I wouldn't rule Spain out altogether though. He was eighteen and fresh from MLS - and five years ago, that was an even bigger jump than it is now. The only place he's looked bad in recent times is Sunderland. So I wonder if he's regarded as such a flop elsewhere. I'm not too pessimistic about his transfer value, though I think we probably will lose a little money.
