CTWD would be put in a better light if they were seen to discourage the 19:04 chant for the sake of fan unity.
Assem Allam would be put in a better light if he was seen to discourage the name change idea for the sake of fan unity.

Which bit, Chazz? Just the last part? I defy you to take issue with anything else in there.Bollocks.
The most spontaneous thing that's ever happened at the kc, whether you agree or not needs listening to. Move on super fan.
you are equating the betrayal of Jesus Christ with the name change??????
hahaha you coldn't make it up!
Don't tell me.............. Assems middle name is Judas.
Nail on head. The song was designed to stop the anti-name change campaign becoming anti-Allam. Nobody had a problem with it until last Monday showing it achieved that objective.
I can see why people zero in on the song to have a go at CTWD but saying it was started as an anti-Allam chant is completely wrong.
On the back of 19:04 and since Ehab has been back in charge the club shop has sold a range of City Till I Die merchandise. Do you really think they'd have done that if they perceived it has been anti them?

There is a realistic chance that we will see fighting break out at 19:04 if the chant continues. CTWD would be put in a better light if they were seen to discourage the 19:04 chant for the sake of fan unity.

A wild guess, given that I applied some poetic license there. So you knew already.
Oh right, of course you too would see CTWD in a better light, yes ? No of course you wouldn't, silly ****. In fact you'd be gutted at having to explain how CTWD did exactly what you suggested, but you still hate us.
But the name change issue is over. Why are you still using it as condemnation or justification. The protest is divisive, it's a continual reminder of the division in the club and a detraction from the support of the players on the pitch. Stopping that one chant at that specific time draws a line under the episode and we can all move on.

Nail on head.
Those gutless milksops only had a problem with it because Papa had splashed out a load more dosh.
Spinless twats.

allam doesn't think it's over, even though the rest of us do. the net result is people turning on ctwd who have done nothing different since april or earlier.
People boooed on Monday. They didn't boo before because they weren't frustrated before. This isn't an on-off switch situation, it's a gradual ramping up of feelings until something snaps.

Why would anyone who promoted unity and reconciliation NOT be looked on in a preferable light? That makes no sense whatsoever.

You can put whatever spin you like on this but it will not alter the truth and that is that an increasing number of people are in opposition to the continued protest.
As has already been stated CTWD encouraged the 1904 protest. They now have an opportunity to put that same influence to use in bringing it to an end and healing the division between the fans. If CTWD sit back and do nothing, what does that say about their assertion that they are capable of being a part of fans liaison and act for the benefit of all fans?
