This is what perplexes me. He's worked so hard on this project but when the time has come to benefit from it, he simply clams up. I genuinely think he has his own value for each player. When he sees it go past his own evaluation, he simply rejects it. He's set in his ways and won't change, this transfer window highlighted it so clearly.
The guy simply has too much power at Arsenal and that's one main problems. Also for the first time in a while, we did not have the problem of trying to keep hold of our best players this summer, so we could really focused on trying to improve our team, yet we chose to dither about.
