Wenger actually used to praise Downing before every game we played Middlesbrough a few years ago. That's probably what these wums are building on.
 
We were linked with Adrian Lopez a while back and I think he could be a player that could improve us. He is a different type of forward to the ones we have. Was very impressed by him in that under 21's competition a couple of years ago. Was the top scorer for Spain and he has done well for A.Madrid.
 
According to the Norwich fans, we're after their keeper, John Ruddy.

I assure you downing is not a youth...don't let his footballing abilities fool you he is way past the age of 12!
 
If we could get stewart downing for £10 and pay him the national minimum wage then he might turn out to be a good buy
 
Just think about it for a second or two, Liverpool paid £20 Million to Villa for Downing!!!
 
you people who are saying we'll only sign henry and youth, you do remember we just signed a massive new sponsorship deal, increasing our revenue from that sponsor by more than 6 times. I think we have some money to spend, and I think Wenger will spend it.
