That's about £3.3m so pretty much what has been quoted. Sounds far more reasonable in GBP though!

He didn't quite say that. He said "Don't thank me, I just said what I think about him" after a tweet where he says what he thinks about him. No mention of advising the club.
I'd be surprised if they didn't ask him though.
