That i didn't expect... another striker? If we insist on playing 4-2-3-1 then we have alot of strikers to fill that one position. I'm guessing he can also play out wide. Nonetheless happy we have finally signed someone else. CB next please!!!

Yeah, but Lambert's going to Blackburn.

Mayuka is a hybrid forward, rather than a traditional centre forward; he'll play a wide position in the 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 most of the time.

Said it before and i'll say it again, he can play either on the wing or upfront.

He'll play as an inside forward/winger I imagine.

Very, very pacey. Great ball control, feet and skills. The main thing is he also has a good end product - he's revered for his quality finishing. So basically a massive upgrade on SDR.

4-3-3 man. This guy will play on one side of the front line. And if Nicola/DTLW get their way someone else will be on the other side of it by tomorrow...

Won't have cost too much either - rumoured to be around £3million.

Much better option than Phillips who'd have cost alot and doesn't have the technique that Mayuka possesses.

Is 5 strikers really that much? It's a long season and it only takes one injury (like Lee's again) for us to all be sweating on options. Besides, as many have said, he seems a versatile option rather than an out and out striker.

Make it 6 for Guly. But even then, I don't think it is, considering Guly, Jay and assumedly Mayuka will all be used wide of the striker too.

The reaction on facebook makes me seriously wonder how these mongs managed to turn on a computer

Emmanuel Mayuka (born 21 November 1990 in Kabwe) is a Zambian footballer who plays as a striker. He currently plays for the mighty Nottingham forest Someone trolling wiki xD
