We have paid worse players much more than Alex Bruce will get.!! Give him a chance, then again once everyone is fit he will be lucky to get a bench slot.

IMO, Sonny Bradley - Danny East and Mark Cullen will be loaned out. SB as he needs to play at least league one level for now and East/Cullen to either shape up or ship out. Bruce snr should offer Sonny Bradley to a club like Scunny on loan for the season.
 
I have heard SB is talking to Sunderland about three players and one is definitely Elmohamady on a permanent. Newcastle friendly was cancelled on Police advice as well.

The chance is though that if they were loaned to a championship club they would just be on the bench cos if they were good enough they wouldnt need loaning out

They're both only 20 though. Especially with Cullen people have been far too quick to write him off, after all the goals he's scored at youth level he needs regular football somewhere, score some goals and then come back here and be close to becoming a regular. East has only played 2 games in his career, there's no chance he can be written off yet.

Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has ruled out a return On Loan for Conor Wickham
from Sunderland. Does that mean a double swoop then by Steve Bruce up there ??

Gus Poyet looking to add 2 more players to his squad before the big kick off. He needs another midfielder and a striker.

Too soon. Danny East is only good enough for league 2 so maybe York City would be a good fit for him.

As for Bradley and Townsend they can play league one IMO. But they all need to play each week.
