Don't really visit the Sunderland board so this is the first time I've seen this article.

Firstly, fantastic idea lads!

I'd like to get involved, I've got an old Spartans top and an old Toon top (both adult L) I could send over but on top of that I'm currently collecting scarves. It's my plan (kind of a new years resolution) to visit as many NE clubs this season and get a scarf from each. I'd be more than happy to buy an extra scarf at each place to donate, completely win:win! More money for the local non-league clubs and more kit for the lads in Africa! <ok>

Who's in charge of sending the gear over? Are scarves okay?

The Coach of Sundeland afc Keroche, who is also on facebook under this name has sent me some update pics of the lads we are trying to help, hope you enjoy.

They are chomping at the bit to play in red and white and are looking forward to watch our Man City game which is on satellite there

Hi just a little comment for all who intend sending shirts boots etc to the address Amsterdam Roger sent out. If you can, I would advise you to send packages in groups.
The cost of the postage is quite high, but if you share the package and postage It won't be so bad. I got a couple of shirts at JJB and some shorts for £25 a set. They dont have any junior socks, but have some all red ones 3 pair for a fiver. Please don't let the cost of postage put you off, If you share it will only cost around a pint each. Think of the joy these kids will have running around in Sunderland kit. keep going guys.

For the overseas guys who wanted to donate and send kit direct as postage was easier and quicker, without having to wait for the set up in the UK distribution storage etc , i gave out the address for the local church, and the charity liaison lady, who will see the stuff gets to the team and kids.

Norway was one of the first guys to contact me, for an individual address to get the ball rolling, i am overjoyed that he has done this and cannot show my gratitude enough.

The team coach will send me pictures of the guys in the kit as soon as it arrives, and i will publish it on here, the lads are overjoyed with all the African players we have, and are developing a great affection for Sunderland, the game with Man City is live there and we will have hundreds cheering for us. any one wanting to see the team its on facebook, Sunderland afc Keroche

another busy weekend SAF KEROCHE will be having a tough game tomorrow at 2pm then we join our parent club SUNDERLAND AFC game verses Man city at local club

Good luck tomorrow

Hope you enjoy the game tonight and we put on a display that makes us all proud. It's great to know that many people on the African continent will be cheering on Sunderland.

the sunderland afc keroche was leading 2-1 when the heaven decided to open with full force making the game to be abandoned at56min,disappointed coz we have to repeat that game again soon

It's difficult, people promise to give you stuff and it never materialises, you have to keep hounding them. Sent some stuff, shirts boots etc, a couple of weeks ago, Hope it arrived.
Even in Africa the future's bright....the future's Red & White.
Come on all you guys that pledged shirts etc., get them out, get them sent.
SAFC Keroche, have you received anything yet?
