I've bought a Sunderland shirt *shudders* from eBay, just need to find out where to send it. <ok>

    Keroche, do you know any lads who'd like to play in the mighty black and white? :)

    Would you mind sending it to Lionel Messi please, Mod, and ask him if he wouldn't mind coming over here to wear it? Much obliged!

    in all seriousness, Mod, I think you need to PM Amsterdam Roger or Ballin Boy - I think they have the details.

    I PM'd Amsterdam Roger. I'll have to hold onto the shirt until a UK distribution gets sorted, I'll have to keep it in the shed as no Sunderland shirts are allowed in my house but it'll be kept wrapped up and clean. <ok>

    Slightly related is this I remember reading about a while back;

    http://hexham.journallive.co.uk/2009/06/hexham-kit-travels-to-gambia.html

    Great stuff from Hexham FC, might be worth getting in touch if you need any advice on the best ways to get shirts to Africa.

    I have spoken to the Kenyan lads, I wish to personally thank Norway for all of his effort in sending the gear, and really appreciate what he has done. I find that the lads are being charged 40 euros to collect the parcel, as the normal pay there is 1 euro per day, it will take then a while to raise the cash to retrieve the parcel, I will personally send messages on line to the post office in Kenya and wont rest till i have spoken to the local M.P. and the head of the post office.to try and sort this steep charge out, will keep you guys informed.

    As regards collection points, and getting the ball rolling with this, i have been very frustrated with the lack of commitment on behalf of our lads to push this on, a couple of volunteers to make a few phone calls from work, on behalf of a good cause is not much to ask, and i sincerely hope someone can step up to the plate and volunteer, Brucie's Beak cannot do everything himself and we need you guys to help.

    So in closing lads, sorry if i come across as ranting, but i really feel for these guys, and we are very lucky in life compared to these guys, i just want my team and supporters, to come up with the goods for them god knows they need it.

    AR, ridiculous, surely that's Highway robbery. It cost £27 to post it, if it costs €40 to collect, Thats the same cost as another 2 strips, and a pair of boots. Is there any way we can cover this cost? Am going to look into sending by UPS, surely won't cost £70, and should be delivered to the door.. Hopefully will be sending some more boots soon(after Easter). Will give you the heads up on UPS when I have the costs.
    BTW do you have any idea about customs or taxes in Kenya?

    Apparently electric goods are free of charge, but i personally think the local post office branch is running a con, cant do anything about it till monday but i will be on the case, writing 2nd hand goods on the parcel may help,
    if you want to pm me i will give you the coaches number, to sms him its only 50p or you could leave him a message on facebook if you want

    BB, If you post the gear, send it as used or second hand goods. SAFC Keroche is having to pay around £40 to get the last lot I sent, from the post office. I am going to contact UPS and find out how much they will charge, If it is OK the gear will be delivered to the door, not the post office. Will add to this post when I have any details.
