AP/NB police here, Warren Joyce was sacked in 2000, Adam Pearson took over in 2001, at least blame the right ****ing people.

Wait a minute...

Did he just say something that he thought was fact but then turned out to be false. That **** is making stuff up.

Genius.

I thought the same and if it is what OLM is hinting I have a bad feeling about this. Give me even Brownie or for that matter even Deano before Megson...FFS

I'm just thinking of compensation free managers. Most are **** though! Billy Davies does have a phenomenal record for getting Championship clubs into the play offs. So if promotion or the play offs was my priority - he'd be the man. On the flip side he's an argumentative feisty little Scottish ****er who has a history of arguing with boards over transfer money etc so I can't quite make up my mind if it's bullshit or not! If the Allams didn't like Barmbys interviews, and Davies is under consideration, then they'd best invest in some ear plugs and a lead.

Yes
BD is "a feisty little Scottish F*cker who has a history of arguing with boards over transfer money " but to be fair, at Forest, at least, his moans about the board were towards the end when, after reaching the playoffs twice he felt that the board were not backing him up enough. I think he was probably right. And you're quite right about his record in the Championship.

Didn't spot the requote and sarcasm eh? Twas a dig at someone having the audacity to critisize St Adam. OLM Im surprised at you.

No, I'm not surprised at you.

Why would Joyce come now when he turned it down last time?

I would be happy with Joyce though, plus it would give us more chance of keeping Evans and Chester.

Maybe Scholes is due to be his eventual replacement and with him going back to playing he didn't want to upset things by leaving them in the lurch. Not much point having a Man U connection if it's that you pissed them off.

I'm a bit concerned about there being 3 managers in the frame and 1 of them being somebody we'll be happy about. That means 2 of them we won't be?

This name hasn't been posted yet but what would everybody think of having him as the new manager?! My personal choice as Big Mick McCarthy is a great Championship manager but not a premier league manager and if the Allams ambitions of achieving a top six position we may need a premier league manager

I think I have the same irrational dislike of McCarthy that most others on here have for BD

I don't really like him either, he talks a load of crap, promotes cheating and considering the players he was able to sign at Wolves they really shouldn't be bottom now.

Every can have an opinion of course but I don't understand how people have a problem with most managers out there. I wonder whether some would accept a decent manager who they don't like or an unknown?

If Dean were to get a job it would probably in the PR area. If Assem Allam is as bonkers as OLM suggests then he may well be something like Sam Hamman. In which case, anything could happen.

Well if there is to be a change..... with the experienced managers out there currently my vote would have to go to Mad Mick, managed Millwall, got them to play offs, managed Sunderland and got them promoted then took Wolves up. Proven track record, with Yorkshire roots. Davies I have to say is an annoying little f***er, but with a healthy winning habit too, and a track record of success. At the risk of upsetting one or two here, NB is not the finished article, he still needs some direction in the management field, and yes it would be wonderful if a place on the coaching staff, or assistant manager were found for him i order to craft his skills, but with what`s gone on, I suspect that Nick will tell them to shove it, not that I can see it being offered. Each to our own anyway.

I are been?

Bless ya.

Fact remains, you make a statement, that is made up, then use it to give advice to someone over something they didn't do. Tbh I think that makes you an arsehole.

I don't really get what you want. We've got all the information we need on this board and you're insisting on ignoring it even though we all know it's true, instead making all sorts of new 'alternative' stories which for some reason have this unexplained, almost TWF-like bias against AP and NB.

No one can stop you wanting to make your own conclusions up if that's what you like, but how can you then criticise another poster for doing the same thing except on a situation we don't haveinformation of, meaning it makes perfect sense for him to speculate on that.

Mick McCarthy said, " That when he next manages a club he wants it to be in Yorkshire". This was said a few weeks after the Wolves sacking. Just a point of interest.
