And Leeds fans effin' hate him - how Hull do you want him to be!? And didnt he leave Spuds to play for Boro so he could be nearer Hull?
How in the **** can you make a Hull lad signing for the smoggies sound like a good thing? It was a disgrace.
Weren't they relegated the season we got promoted to L1, so he was really dropping 1 division? And I'm pretty sure the story at the time was that part of the reason he was on a minimal wage with us was because the settlement he'd agreed with Leeds reduced if he was earning more.
Oh cmon ffs, I was joking, I'm not questioning Nicks loyalty to our club. Just because you never got to use your pitchforks on the Allams, don't start jabbing them at me.
Any manager coming here will want to know what funds are available, who wants to play for him and if i was him i would have a quiet word with NB and find out is views on all what's gone on, anyone sensible wants to know what the new boss is like to work for then take it all in and decide
So according to some people's comments the next manager should be Hull born, be a supporter of the club and only have played for Hull. or would we prefer a hull born person who has played at a number of clubs therefore learning from a number of managers and also having played with numerous players (which may come in helpful for transfer dealings) even if two of those clubs are Leeds and Middlesbrough. NB let's not forget played for England before anymore people choose to slag him off because he wasn't manager a or b
They certainly aren't off the hook with me. Whatever happens now, they've already made it known that they can be very awkward to work for, something we didn't know before all of this, and it might have an impact on who wants to come here this summer.
News about the demise of Humberside must travel slowly in Hull then. Have recently received a letter from Marfleet in East Hull with an address finishing... Hull HU9 5TB. North Humberside.
Any new manager that comes in will have good and bad points. Warren Joyce: Good with the young lads, and good connections with Man U, But Hasn't managed at this level and Probably wouldn't want the job. Mick Mcarthy : Great Experience in this league and seems fairly well respected with other managers, But IMO would cost too much for the Allams to employ him. Billy Davies: Has the experience and does seem to do well at this level but never seems to get on with chairman (Not always a bad thing) Also not wildly popular. Jose Mourinho: Has won the odd trophy, But never really done it at this level, Also He's not from Hull. Alot of people seem to want people with Hull connections to get the job, Joyce, Horton etc. We could go for an entire backroom staff made up of ex city players/Managers and local lads. Manager - Brian Horton Assistant- Justin Whittle Finishing Coach- Deano Passing Coach- Richard Sneekes Tackling and getting stuck in coach- Stuart Green Gk coach- Mussy ( Let Matt Glennon come in on a Thursday to teach em kicking) Youth Development- Nicky Featherstone, Gary Bradshaw and Yann Ekra IMO Mcarthy Would be the best shout if we wanted experience. For cheap and Upcoming then Lee Clark, Or maybe that Robinson bloke from MK Dons his name was banded around when NP left.
