There seem to be accusations all over the place about various footballers doing coke. As we know from Jake Livermore, they are tested for stuff like that and do get caught. If it really was happening half as much as alleged, surely more people would get caught.

Depends how often they’re tested, I don’t think it’s very often at all. It can be undetectable in urine after as little as 24 hours too.

According to stats it varies between 1.5-2.5 tests per player, it changes every year, but it is not disturbed equal, so a player can be tested 4 times, while quite a big chunk can finish season without tested, it is random selection.

The Luke Campbell ‘effect’….

Ever since Walter had him running around the 18 yard box with the ball every game he’s gone a bit funny has Lewie. In all seriousness if he’s filling in a Twitter warrior then good on him. He gets some stick for no reason. That said he will probably lose the captaincy.

I think we'll appoint a new captain because we want the captain to be in our Best XI and Coyle likely won't be next season, rather than because of some skirmish in the off-season.

Kamara was made to do that weird hostage video apologising for commenting on a Portsmouth player’s Instagram post after we lost to Boro and he’s a 21-year-old lad. Coyle’s pushing 30, is club captain and scrapping in town with his shirt off. Even if he’s morally right and the other bloke provoked him, I don’t see how this can be brushed under the carpet.

Wish him well, but I think it's got to him this season.

I get he’s human and he’s entitled to a life outside of football but we don’t know what happened. Going out on a bank holiday season when he’s been poor this season (he’s not the only one)
We’ve just avoided relegation and this is the first bit of fight he’s shown.
Not quite sure it’ll be the best idea he’s had

think he knows he’s off and his captaincy days are numbered

Not long ago he was screaming at the kiddies stand to '**** off' - when a calm head is needed from a club captain, Coyle seems to be the polar opposite - on a serious note, the guy needs some help with anger management otherwise he's going to get himself into a lot of bother

Hang on, are we slating him for being too calm and meek or too fired up? It gets a bit frustrating when these guys can't seem to win with supporters no matter how they express themselves.

No, he needs to show leadership, - that's strength, conviction, direction and control - most of which don't appear to be in Coyles locker in the right quantities - losing control is not showing strength

So when people slate him for not blowing up at the ref they're actually praising him for his conviction and control, got it.
