I mean. We have no idea what happened - he could have been set on by a group for all we know.

Not a good look but I’m very much reserving judgement until we know more.

yea
lets wait and see

Friend of mine text me earlier today saying that Lewie was drinking in Lyrics bar last night wearing his City tracksuit and City flip flops. Not a good look...in both senses.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sellés strips him of the captaincy. It’s happened at other clubs after bad publicity off the field. Derby even terminated Keogh’s contract after the car crash incident and he wasn’t even driving.

Kamara was made to do that weird hostage video apologising for commenting on a Portsmouth player’s Instagram post after we lost to Boro and he’s a 21-year-old lad. Coyle’s pushing 30, is club captain and scrapping in town with his shirt off. Even if he’s morally right and the other bloke provoked him, I don’t see how this can be brushed under the carpet.

Probably because it's outside the season and we don't even know the context yet?

I don’t see how a player fighting in the street, regardless of context, is more excusable or defensible than a player making a social media faux pas that wasn’t even offensive, just bad timing.

Kamara didn't get punished though, or do you want Coyle to do a presser too?

I just don't understand why people are losing their minds just because someone happened to film it.

Derby used it as an excuse because they wanted Keogh out. They kept the other 2 because they were valuable to the club. Horrible club

This time.

Funny how even last season there were rumours about players scrapping on nights out and doing coke but they were dismissed because there was no evidence. Connolly wasn’t the only one at it.

And who is losing their mind over it?

But that's my point, this wouldn't be the first nor last time something like this happens.

Calls of stripping him of the captaincy seems fairly 'losing their mind' realms.

Why is it? It’s happened at other clubs for less. I’d be more surprised if he remained captain.
