Coyle’s pushing 30, is club captain and scrapping in town with his shirt off. Even if he’s morally right and the other bloke provoked him, I don’t see how this can be brushed under the carpet.

I don’t see how a player fighting in the street, regardless of context, is more excusable or defensible than a player making a social media faux pas that wasn’t even offensive, just bad timing.

 

Kamara didn't get punished though, or do you want Coyle to do a presser too?

I just don't understand why people are losing their minds just because someone happened to film it.

Funny how even last season there were rumours about players scrapping on nights out and doing coke but they were dismissed because there was no evidence. Connolly wasn’t the only one at it.

Calls of stripping him of the captaincy seems fairly 'losing their mind' realms.
