I never heard anyone saying let’s see how we do against better sides under Rosenior. Considering we only picked up 10/36 last season from the top 6, id suggest people are shifting the goal posts because they don’t want to admit they were wrong for saying he should be sacked after 5 games

Honestly? On here very few did that. Or maybe one.

I'm not re-writing any narrative and just because my opinion differs to yours doesn't mean I am. The way acun went about things during that q&a put him massively under the microscope and his performances needed to be nothing less then 100% and unfortunately during pre season they weren't and people piled on. But he wasn't "rubbish" at all

He looked completely devoid of confidence in pre season. A rabbit in headlights.

Thankfully football is a confidence game, and he's found some. Looks a different player.

Think Tim is still yet to learn his best midfield.

For me at present it’s probably Zambrano, Mehlem, Slater. Palmer showed why Coventry were fine letting him go on Tuesday, very uninterested out of possession, I think it was largely a factor in why we looked so open for s lot of the first half. He’s an impact sub in my opinion

I agree, maybe Zambrano and Alzate might work together, I know they are both defensive midfielders, but having them rotating in front of the back 4. If however Zambrano is banned, then Alzate or Simon's & Puerta as replacements, with Palmer and either Mehlem or Slater. I just don't see where Omur fits in, unless he is played centrally, he is ineffective on the wing.

As far as Burns goes, he looks as if a centre half is his likely position, and with Hughes waiting in the wings I can't see him getting much game time.

Yeah the Burns signing is so weird. Some of us said it in pre-season and were told he'd definitely be playing or he wouldn't have come..

Too early to judge Burns especially when he has mostly been played out of position so far. He must have something about him for Man City to loan rather than sell.

Yeah I'm not writing him off as a player I'm questioning why we loaned in someone in that position when it seems unlikely he'll play enough games to make it worth it for him or for us.

Loans to me are best served as attacking players or central midfield players where you see a lot of rotation game to game or even within a game. It means that even if you're coming off the bench you'll still get reasonable minutes, and if you jag a goal or an assist or start to show some form, you'll probably get a run of starts. Much rarer/tougher as a CB to get thrown in for a decent amount of minutes.

But the want for Burns or similar was because nearly everyone didn’t rate our two backs - now they have not been a disaster he can’t get in in that position . Things might change - maybe tomorrow !

Literally 100’s of people on here,Twitter,Facebook wanted him sacked

There were certainly plenty on Facebook, generally the same ones that wanted Rosenior sacked all last season, they're the ones that post two threads a day when things are going badly and none when things are going well. And almost all of the don't know the difference between they're and there...

Stoke scored 6 last night. QPR shouldn't be in danger and Cardiff was at least slightly tricky due to the expectation of the occasion and their change in manager.

I do think there are legit concerns about conceding so many chances against the sides we want to be amongst by the end of the season though.

But to say we've only beaten shyte is being somewhat churlish.

Think people are also forgetting that 75% of this league generally is quite **** as well

It’s shifting the goal posts now because the teams we’ve played haven’t been very good.
There seems to be an almost hysterical 'WE WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG AND WHY CANT YOU ADMIT IT LOSERS AND HATERS!' right now. People had doubts early on because we weren't playing well and there seemed little signs of improvement or how the new system would work. In the last 3 games there has been definite improvement, particularly in converting possession in the final third into creating (and taking) chances. I still think we haven't solved the problems in being slow and unambitious playing out from the back. However it is surely undeniable that the three teams we've beaten weren't very good, that's why they're in the bottom 5? We have given up a lot of chances to these teams and because they're not very good they failed to take advantage. If we give up that many chances against the good teams, we'll be punished, and that gives me a little pause in getting too carried away. Doesn't seem that controversial a view to hold.

Stoke were 13th when we played them and are 15th now, QPR were 17th when we played them, they only dropped into the bottom three because we beat them. They're not a bad side, I expect them to finish mid-table. Only Cardiff have been garbage all season and even they won midweek. Norwich will no doubt be a tougher test and will give us a better indication of where we really are, but it's simply not true to say we've only beaten bottom five sides.

Awwww bless him!

Well I've never said he doesn't like him, but I did say he didn't like TW putting him back in his box during that press conference which was obvious to everyone and it was also obvious he started to stir the pot after that on twitter etc. There's plenty of things baz ( Hi baz ) can have a pop at me for if he wants, but if he's going to do that then at least do it on something I've actually said FFS.

But let's be honest, I doubt he was aiming it at anyone specific ( unless he names them? ) poor little lamb is probably just upset he has to start showing a little positivity after 3 fantastic results and has to eat his worlds from the last few weeks a little.

Bit condescending Howden. Be the better person. Personally I don't think anyone wants to see the coach of the club fail.
