I don't think he genuinely wants to see him fail ( I don't think even Ben wants to see him fail
), but his reaction to being made to look daft by tim was clear to see and he was very quick to jump on what tim was or wasn't doing etc. he let his embarrassment and subsequent feelings from that situation influence his negative posts, which as a journalist he knew full well would influence how some supporters would feel and start to put unwarranted pressure on Tim after 5 ****ing games. He needs to grow up, eat humble pie and be more professional when he gets put back in his box for asking repetitive questions.Anyway, he's had his little moment calling out "bullshit" on the podcast, so let's hopefully leave it there and see our local "journalist" get behind the team and add some positivity to things and he can carry on having his dress sense questioned by his good friend Tim

This. I said 10 games to judge. The first five games were ass. The last three have been better and it shows we've at least got something about us, or at the very least we've at least got some talented players. You're right, we still seem to struggle against teams that press us high and we end up panic hoofing or making a gaffe. The breakthroughs against Stoke and QPR came from set pieces, I still don't feel like we have had complete control of a game from start to finish, like there's always a goal against us coming, but perhaps that's the nature of our style that we were warned about. Had we continued playing like we did in the first five, we would be deep in the **** and no doubt looking for a new manager. We might end up getting thrashed against a few teams who can finish their chances but if we also keep picking up wins, we'll be alright.
I want him to succeed, but I want Hull City to succeed more and to debase the discussion into "I was right and you were wrong" is both premature and utterly pointless. Our success is measured on progress, mitigated by the upheaval we had over the Summer.
We've picked up three wins, cracking, they were solid wins with good goals scored, but it's still not the finished article by any stretch. What does give me optimism is the fact that we are continuing to improve and can only get better.
We also haven’t seen some of our new signings at all yet and hopefully Hughes and Puerta will strengthen us defensively. Alzate too, once he’s up to speed. We should have plenty of real quality competition for the defensive midfield position, which we will need with the intensity they’re going to be expected to provide.

Managing change is always a particular challenge. You really need to keep an eye on external expectations, perception and outcomes whilst trying to focus everything on training and supporting transitional behaviour alteration.
I don’t imagine that undertaking all that with a high staff and management rotation makes it any easier either.
That said: preseason was about introducing the new concept - primarily with players who would not ultimately play a large part in implementation. The results were never likely to be good.
The first three games were a steep learning curve, from which some players will have learned a hell of a lot. In retrospect 3 draws was probably a good outcome. Playing Leeds and Sheffield coincided with trying to bed in some new players. Possibly not the ideal opposition against who to do that but again, I would imagine that the players learned a lot about each other during those games.
The last three games have shown what this side is capable of. We look a real threat going forward, thanks mainly to two functioning wingers who scare defenders.
Defensively both in terms of tactics and personal, I’m not convinced. I think we’ve actually done well defending (having Pandur between the sticks has helped there), but it looks fragile to me. Hughes might help but there are going to be games when we are torn apart.
Hopefully not tomorrow as we really owe Norwich for their odious behaviour last season.

Some posters have never been sen in the same room as others. So, not every poster could be there physically.
Having listened to the latest podcast I would suggest that it's time for Cooper to spend some time off social media. He's turning it into a series of rants.

I had 4 x spare hospitality places at QPR, I thought about offering them on here and then realised I might end up regretting that when people actually turn up so I opted to stick with two of us and enjoy six steak pies to ourselves at half time!I just got to thinking wouldn't be great if we could all meet up
What is it they say, 'never meet your idols' or something like that. Would hate to end up disappointed knowing that some of you are not as good looking as I imagine.

I saw the Stoke game on TV & I was at the Cardiff game last weekend, I had a rant after the game about how we were spending too much time fannying about at the back, & against better teams we’d concede more goals. Then someone posted something, can’t remember who or what, but it was something about the reason for fannying about was to stretch the opposition as otherwise the teams that aren’t so good, would just sit back & defend deep.
Then it hit me, the better teams will come at us, meaning, HOPEFULLY, they won’t be forcing us to fanny about on the edge of the six yard box, & space would be available already.
I suppose tomorrow will be the first chance to see if this will be true, the alternative scenario will be, Norwich will be so good, they can attack & defend at will, giving us no chance.

No because some still look for why we shouldn’t have won , or how lucky we were etc it’s a shame the human condition seems to want to dwell and enjoy the negative but limits the positive maybe because we are self effacing Brits and not Yanks - just wondering

Hard to be negative about the recent 3 games. Perfection doesn't exist. Everything can be improved upon but, 10 goals scored in 3 games is as close to perfection as we'd have hoped after Sheff Utd.
