If he was going to drop Pandur for Rushworth he'd have done it before QPR. The form he's currently in makes it nigh on impossible. And quite right too.
I agree Pandurs performance in the first 10 minutes was awesome and more or less faultless for the rest of the game..
I was amazed that he kept the first one of those two out, as it looked like it was going to go under his arm but then to get up and spread himself to keep the second one out was definitely reminiscent of Schmeichel!
we can only comment on what we see in front off us…pleased he’s pushed on…but pre season ….yeah there was defo concerns…. I don’t see why that is a problem….
Quick to jump on, slow to praise is my point. They’re happy to pile on but when he plays like that you can hear a pin drop
Exactly that same with Tim when we lost a couple, win 3 on the bounce and some very vocal people have suddenly lost their voice
Stoke scored 6 last night. QPR shouldn't be in danger and Cardiff was at least slightly tricky due to the expectation of the occasion and their change in manager. I do think there are legit concerns about conceding so many chances against the sides we want to be amongst by the end of the season though. But to say we've only beaten shyte is being somewhat churlish.
Think Tim is still yet to learn his best midfield. For me at present it’s probably Zambrano, Mehlem, Slater. Palmer showed why Coventry were fine letting him go on Tuesday, very uninterested out of possession, I think it was largely a factor in why we looked so open for s lot of the first half. He’s an impact sub in my opinion
Not sure that's true. I've been full of praise for Pandur but thought he looked awful in pre season. Acun thought he looked so bad he brought in two new keepers. People can only judge on what's in front of them.
No different to those who shifted the goalposts from "judge the squad at the end of the window" to "judge the squad at the end of November". Some of us want to see these performances replicated against better sides but are happy with what we've seen. As with Pandur what's wrong with judging on what we've seen? It's amazing people thought 5 games was a small sample but 3 games is a clear indication of how we'll go from here though! As with anything, people will pick the narrative that suits them.
That people suggesting he doesn't like Walter, or that Walter doesn't like him are talking utter ****, and directly called out those on social media trying to spread that, which definitely sounds like he's had a peek on here.
Awwww bless him! Well I've never said he doesn't like him, but I did say he didn't like TW putting him back in his box during that press conference which was obvious to everyone and it was also obvious he started to stir the pot after that on twitter etc. There's plenty of things baz ( Hi baz ) can have a pop at me for if he wants, but if he's going to do that then at least do it on something I've actually said FFS. But let's be honest, I doubt he was aiming it at anyone specific ( unless he names them? ) poor little lamb is probably just upset he has to start showing a little positivity after 3 fantastic results and has to eat his worlds from the last few weeks a little.
I never heard anyone saying let’s see how we do against better sides under Rosenior. Considering we only picked up 10/36 last season from the top 6, id suggest people are shifting the goal posts because they don’t want to admit they were wrong for saying he should be sacked after 5 games
He didn’t look awful in pre season though. It’s just typical goal keeper slander when goals are leaking
