Not as simple as that, if you signed a £10m player on a free, you wouldn't still have the £10m transfer to spend as essentially that player would want considerably more as a signing on fee than a £10m transferred player would..... obviously depending on which budget signing on fees are paid from

Granted, but it wouldn’t be a £10m signing on fee lol. The point I’m trying to make is that you can definitely improve the team with frees but if you’re going to remove the value of the player from the budget you set out then it’s totally counter productive and isn’t really going to move you forward.
If, by that, you mean some people will post opinions, that may differ from your's, then you may be right ...

Be interesting how they do, still got a few holes in their squad, not convinced by their manager at all these days and always interesting to see how teams who sign lots of players (who will be needed to start straight away) get on
Ohare will be a cracking signing for them, and i really like Burrows as a player - he will suit playing as a wingback for them
Ahmedozic, Souttar and Robinson would be a hellish back 3 with Hamer and De Souza in front of them too. I agree about Wilder not sure he’s the man, seems like short term planning

Ahmedozic was class in the championship but he looked so bad last season - the PL is a different level but wonder how his confidence will be now. I dont rate Robinson that much so he can def be got at, souttar is the one im intrigued about - when i watch him hes either unreal or totally shocking, hopefully be totally shocking when we play them.
Hamer is the real class act in that team n i do like souza as well, those 2 should be stand outs in the league. Moore will score double figures for them but i don't think they have the strength n depth of previously relegated sides
This season it could be anyones, i could easily see sheff utd runninh away with things but i can honestly see them finishing mid table as well

Yes you are, most have 'bad mouthed' the club at some point. As long as people are making valid educated points folk dont mind, folk might debate it but that goes 2 ways
Its when folk are constantly negative and never praise the club (even when things are going well) that get folks back up
Moore is a strange one for them, you’d argue that position is their weak link. Quality all over the pitch but not really much to shout about up top. Yeah I think the season is going to be really unpredictable as well hopefully 3 non-relegated teams go up and get a shot at the PL.

Yeah. Think I posted in April we would have 3 strips that were bespoke with all the different badges across each. That's when I heard about it.
With Mendy, I also heard it was nailed on and when it dragged on, I used the word skulduggery, which was strong. However, it appears it was correct and the player himself feels like he has been cheated out of a move ( seen across his statements). Importantly though, it appears that it's on the parent club and not us.
That's the thing with info. Just get bits, never the full picture.
I have said I don't really get alot of the transfer stuff these days. Just on the off chance.

I don’t get the outrage when stuff posted in good faith doesn’t come off, it’s the real world things change, especially when uprooting family’s to move regions/countries it can fall apart at any moment, I think Mendy’s kicked up enough of a stink his end to get here eventually just concerned about how fit he’ll be when he gets here now more than anything, he’ll definitely give the place a lift though!
