This is definitely the summer for quality over quantity

Also hope we get plenty of youngsters out on loan. Even if it effects results at u23 level, they’re better off playing proper men’s football.

Totally agree with this, I feel like we need to be quite aggressive on some of our loans. The right fit is obviously important but I'd like to see Young, Johnson and Mayenda in League One next season. Not only do they get good experience in men's football, but feeling that slog of a full season with all it's ups and downs will be good experience mentally as well. Get Bainbridge and Tommy Watson out on loan for half the season as well.

I agree we need to be ruthless and there's no room for sentimentality. Would like experienced players in at CB, CDM and a striker. Less experienced 2nd striker plus replacements for any of our big guns that we lose.

Sell: Bass, Bishop, Benette, Matete, Anderson, Embleton and Roberts (if bid comes in for 2.5M +)
Loan: Hemir, Mayenda, Triantis, Watson and Kelly
It's still hard to believe that Embleton is only 25, maybe Reggie will cast an eye over him and think he's worth keeping. I wouldn't be in a hurry to get rid unless his broken leg has been too serious to recover fully from

Is that legit or just rumours?
Nixon broke it and he also said in the same story we would be letting bishop leave for Cook to come in. Also would make sense as to why Copley is saying we are looking at a L2 loan for Matty Young.

I know we have been linked with that Theo Bair but so have a lot of clubs. I like the look of him, could be a good option upfront for us.

1 in 27 St Johnstone the season before last, released at the end of that season.
Strikers improve, I never look at any seasons before their most recent as it's a massive momentum thing with them. Ross Stewart's stats were horrid and then he came to us and started flying

Jack Clarke has been linked with Crystal Palace previously. I do wonder if they’d come back in, especially when Olise is sold for big £££

I don't think he'll fancy another stint in London, he resurrected his career when he moved back up to us. I personally don't think he'll go this year.
I hope you’re right but I’d be absolutely staggered if he was still here come September. I just hope he’s replaced properly.

I was worried if Leeds went up, I can’t think of a prem team that’s realistic where he starts, Everton maybe?

Some good goals there, two footed, decent in the air. Fair to say he's against worse defences but the main concern is wearing gloves in the summer or, in fact, at any time.

Not sure how I feel about Clarke staying.

He’s a cracking player but at some point we are going to need to start cashing in on one or two of our big assets, so we can flex our muscles properly in the transfer market to bring the quality of our overall squad up.
