And you've quoted me to prove conclusively that I was...........me. Did your string break?

I’ve put the fool on ignore now. Waste of energy. Thanks everyone else for continuing to post sensibly through our squabbling. Some reasoned arguments on here worthy of consideration. As I said earlier I hope they do identify something they can control on the injury front, not that this has anything to do with Dan Neil who has a great record and it’s looking like whatever he has is minor. People jumping to daft conclusions initially it seems.

I think we have to look at each player individually. With Alese and Cirkin it does seem like rehab is an issue for them. Others are prone to injuries in games, some in training. Each problem needs a different approach when it comes to preparation and recovery.

He never goes to games even though he could, rarely comments on match threads and never has a good word to say about the club, the supporters or the area. It's just a continual barrage of snide digs to provoke arguments and derail threads followed by a flurry of insults and a bout of playing the victim.

He's really not right in the head.

They won't be burned out, they are young lads not old players. Young players can cope with playing every week

That just sounds like football tbh. People get injured, we've had spells this season with basically a full squad, we've had spells with loads of injuries. Of course you can try to limit it but you can't do much about in game contact injuries or freak ones like Huggins.

Issues like this aren't black and white, as you say we have to look at each instance individually. But considering actual precedent set by players within our squad and around the league, 'experience' seems to have nothing to do with it.

It's the long term effect of playing hard games twice a week for ten months at a time while still growing. 22 and 23 was still classed as a young player not so long ago.

As I said, it's a combination of factors. It's not all all one of the other. Add all the factors in play then you get what's happened to us.

Ice hockey. If you look at the top leagues, each team plays 82 regular season games in the NHL, 68 regular season games in the KHL, and 52 regular season games in the Swedish and Czech leagues, which are much smaller than the NHL and KHL. All of those leagues have playoffs when the regular season is completed. For the NHL that could be as many as a further 28 games. The major difference is that no player will play all 60 minutes of any game.

In the NHL, there are 1.63 injuries per 1000 'athlete exposures'.
Has anyone got any stats to show how that compares to the Championship, or even football in general?

Don't tell me - only the exile and I have ever used the word tinfoil, and you've checked.

And not everyone is 'attacking' me. Just you and a select few. The same few people who 'attack' everyone else.

I can't be arsed looking for his posts (might find a few good words to use though)but he must have **** you and your gang right up to get you going on like this.

And that's all the dopamine (there's that phrase again) you're getting today. Don't use it all at once.

If this is an issue that needs fixing how do we fix it. Them up the road have a nations wealth but have been plagued by injury this season if you listen to the media. Man Utd have had as many injuries and have struggled this year and given their vast wealth and facilities maybe they should be able to solve the issue.
The truth is in football injuries happen nd the clubs do their best to rehabilitate the players as best they can, in truth we have a lot of young players and some players who are now only getting used to playing a high tempo physical game which is leading to injuries. I have no doubt that things at the club I.E physio, cryo chambers etc. may well need to be improved but sniping and moaning about it would not achieve this.
Instead of your post sounding negative why not ask the question what can be done to help these players, because as long as I can remember young p[layers tend to get fairly lengthy injuries as they develop into adult players and the 18 to 22 mark is generally when the first real test of their mind set gets asked regarding injuries. But if you have some idea of how to stop this then I am all ears.

Don't just focus on rehab and invest into correct, world class prehab. Takes massive investment but pays for itself over time due to having your squad fit and hopefully moving up the league.

Exasperation. The support knew it was an issue last season, it was the main reason we didn't go further in the playoffs and it's happened again. Should have been the first order of business in the close season, and it should be the first order of business this close season.

Like I have said how do you propose it is fixed, as far as I can see all we can do is being done. the club is gradually building and improving but if your opinion could be backed up with how it could be improved then please share you thoughts on it.
I don't know our medical staff or fully our training techniques but as Dodds was highly thought of development coach my guess is that he knows what he is doing in that respect. our facilities could maybe be improved but as plenty of new signings have said the facilities are very good again maybe some scope for small improvements, but you say something should be done but you are yet to say what you think could improve the situation.
