And you've quoted me to prove conclusively that I was...........me. Did your string break?

I’ve put the fool on ignore now. Waste of energy. Thanks everyone else for continuing to post sensibly through our squabbling. Some reasoned arguments on here worthy of consideration. As I said earlier I hope they do identify something they can control on the injury front, not that this has anything to do with Dan Neil who has a great record and it’s looking like whatever he has is minor. People jumping to daft conclusions initially it seems. You and Exile are the only posters to have ever spelled 'criticise' with a z and committee with a capital 'C' ...
... you were sussed on the first day you posted man![]()
Just don't think this is true at all really. Look around the championship. Our injuries in the last 2 years have been to players young, old, players inexperienced to the championship and championship regulars. We aren't the most injured team right now, look at Boro for example, their injury list is pretty exclusively mid 20s championship experienced players.
Our rehab is poor, looking specifically at Alese and Cirkin there.
Check all my posts if you wish, rarely will you ever see me engage in tit for tat arguments with someone who disagrees with me if ever!
I love my club and will defend it when under attack from anyone, I’ll also criticise when it’s deserved but your another level, not a chance are you a Sunderland supporter.
You’ve been sussed, crack on, I’m done engaging with you.
They won't be burned out, they are young lads not old players. Young players can cope with playing every weekWho'll buy young lads who are going to be burned out by their late twenties.
That just sounds like football tbh. People get injured, we've had spells this season with basically a full squad, we've had spells with loads of injuries. Of course you can try to limit it but you can't do much about in game contact injuries or freak ones like Huggins.I think we have to look at each player individually. With Alese and Cirkin it does seem like rehab is an issue for them. Others are prone to injuries in games, some in training. Each problem needs a different approach when it comes to preparation and recovery.

And I'm the only person in history to have any problems with Committee Men.
Is there a tinfoil shortage in your village?
We're gonna need more tinfoil.
Maybe I could back myself up by tagging the posters I'm talking about, but it seems that cowardly is the accepted method here.

Exile left Feb 12th, your account was created 3 days laterNever been here before, but there seems to be a really weird paranoia with some over some poster who appears to be long gone.

Ice hockey. If you look at the top leagues, each team plays 82 regular season games in the NHL, 68 regular season games in the KHL, and 52 regular season games in the Swedish and Czech leagues, which are much smaller than the NHL and KHL. All of those leagues have playoffs when the regular season is completed. For the NHL that could be as many as a further 28 games. The major difference is that no player will play all 60 minutes of any game.I wonder how many other sports expect their elite athletes to play so many matches in a year, certainly in a contact sport.

In the NHL, there are 1.63 injuries per 1000 'athlete exposures'.
Has anyone got any stats to show how that compares to the Championship, or even football in general?

Probably a fair point. If they have they really need to get a girlfriend ...
... or even a friend of any kind![]()

"Why is everyone attacking me, I've never posted on here before."
If this is an issue that needs fixing how do we fix it. Them up the road have a nations wealth but have been plagued by injury this season if you listen to the media. Man Utd have had as many injuries and have struggled this year and given their vast wealth and facilities maybe they should be able to solve the issue.Yes, and there's plenty to be happy about.
This is an issue that needs fixing though. It directly affects results. We have loads of injuries in training and it always takes ages for them to recover. We've had to do more operations than the bloody SAS. Club Surgeon has become a full time job.

The truth is in football injuries happen nd the clubs do their best to rehabilitate the players as best they can, in truth we have a lot of young players and some players who are now only getting used to playing a high tempo physical game which is leading to injuries. I have no doubt that things at the club I.E physio, cryo chambers etc. may well need to be improved but sniping and moaning about it would not achieve this.
Instead of your post sounding negative why not ask the question what can be done to help these players, because as long as I can remember young p[layers tend to get fairly lengthy injuries as they develop into adult players and the 18 to 22 mark is generally when the first real test of their mind set gets asked regarding injuries. But if you have some idea of how to stop this then I am all ears.

Like I have said how do you propose it is fixed, as far as I can see all we can do is being done. the club is gradually building and improving but if your opinion could be backed up with how it could be improved then please share you thoughts on it.Exasperation. The support knew it was an issue last season, it was the main reason we didn't go further in the playoffs and it's happened again. Should have been the first order of business in the close season, and it should be the first order of business this close season.
