He hasn't been flogged at all mind, his minutes played is similar to some of the best midfielders in the league which is what Dan is. Sara, Grimes, Ampadu, Winks, McLean and Knight all have similar minutes played.
Def hasn't been flogged to death like some are saying Hes our best CM by a mile so if hes fit he starts, he's been class this season so should be the 1st name on the team sheet Its his 3rd season in the 1st team as a regular so he knows how to look after himself n i think the last few performances hes been unreal Be ashame if hes injured but gives us a chance to see what styles is like in CM if he is
There's been games where his form has drooped and it could be down to his game time. Combined with his responsibility in the side. I've never said he looks knackered. Like you say, he's a young lad and relishes playing every game.
Jobe has definitely been overplayed for me, but I don't think it contributed as much to his performance as some felt. Some unfairly compare him to his brother. He seems to me like he needs time to mature physically, its almost like he's too big for how wants to play, immobile too.
How many injuries does it take before there's an acceptance that there's a problem that needs to be addressed. Maybe in a couple of months when Neil has the inevitable 'setback'.
What is the problem? Injuries are normal in football and often can't be prevented. You'd probably be one of the first complaining if Neil was dropped from the 11 some weeks. His minutes played number is normal compared to the best midfielders in the league.
So all our injuries are down to overplaying players are they? If that’s your argument it’s just wrong. As for Neil, why do you think his injury is due to being overplayed? Pure speculation- you don’t even know what the injury is but thanks for another positive contribution.
Are you happy with anything at all about the club ? I dont spend a lot of time on here but you are constantly sniping at something about the club, remind me of the Rat
It could be an age thing or maybe what is being asked of them, We are carrying too many passengers at times, so, maybe these players you mention are not carrying the same load, who knows .
We arent really carrying passengers tho, players havent played well but theyve still worked hard for the team and covered the ground
Neil has played 44 games this season (all starts) compared to 50 appearances last season (3 as sub) and 46 the previous season (9 sub appearances) At his age, this is exactly what he needs - games under his belt and the ability to develop. We are seeing him develop in front of our eyes - his performances this season are a marked improvement on last. If he's missing the last 3 games then so be it, the kid has been brilliant this year and with around 150 appearances for us now it's fair to consider him as an established pro.
They think they're being subtle and no one will notice how snide they're being, it's pathetic and totally predictable. It's amazing how people, who always want to have a dig at the forum, can't keep off it.
Yes, and there's plenty to be happy about. This is an issue that needs fixing though. It directly affects results. We have loads of injuries in training and it always takes ages for them to recover. We've had to do more operations than the bloody SAS. Club Surgeon has become a full time job.
Never been here before, but there seems to be a really weird paranoia with some over some poster who appears to be long gone.
I expect Cirkin being smashed in the face is down to the club's training methods, players injured in the first few weeks of the season is because of fatigue and the negligence of the club Hume is a young lad who is the hardest tackler, plays every game and covers the ground ... hardly ever injured.
Majority of the injuries we've had this season have came within games. Neil has not been burnt out this season, in fact nobody has to the point of injury.
