I'll try again

You said he only wanted Phillips on loan because.. that is an assumption... there could be a multitude of reasons Howe wanted him in anyway shape or form.

I’ll try again, it’s a fact that we had no money in January so we quite simply couldn’t buy him hence we only wanted him on loan. Is that really so hard to understand? It’s also a fact that we had a lot of midfield injuries hence the connection with midfield players. It’s not speculation it’s fact

That doesn't change the fact there's a plethora of other potential reasons and you said 'he only wanted him on loan'

The fact is he might have wanted him permanently.

BTW I've added this to help assist you with your accusation.

All I'd put back into this is - who decided to give Lascelles, Ritchie and Dummett new one year deals when we have 9 more players than City do and they're on for a double treble?

I'm guessing that wasn't Ashworth.

Is Ritchie and Dummett confirmed or rumoured?

There may be any number of reasons but it’s still a fact that because of the financial situation we simply couldn’t do anything else but only get him on loan.
He may have wanted him permanently but to say that would be speculation which is what you did.
Is that a fact a guess or an assumption @magpie290761
it’s clearly a guess

Might is speculation I said we wanted him only on loan because it’s a fact we couldn’t do anything else but. Where is that speculation? I stand by your statement that Howe would have bought him in January if we had the money said by you was speculation Points 1 and 3?

You've admitted there are more potential reason Howe would want Phillips..
