I agree Longstaff needs a rest but not with some of the OTT abuse the lad gets

He’s average at best. Runs around a lot. Doesnt really make a tackle. Passing is average.

He is a squad player.

He is never injured which I find quite bizarre.

He’s just not as bad as some say, has always been a LB/CB did well earlier in the season and anyone could have made that blunder. I just don’t see how that makes it a blunder by Howe. Would agree it’s time for him to move on though as much for him to actually play as for us.

Matt Ritchie had played left back more times than Dummett has in the last 6 years.

Maybe Ritchie should have been brought on.

Dummett should never have been brought on because he’s been finished for at least 2-3 years.

However I agree with you that it is solely Dummett fault for the foul. Bad player or not that was just a terrible decision.

Longstaff is absolutely garbage .. there was a time Colback was fooling the world aswel and Longstaff will end up in a **** club struggling the day he's moved on.

He's only at the club because of his family in the 1st place.
