Ange openly criticising how large chunks of the game seemed to be totally out of control.

He's absolutely right. Oliver was about as useful as a dish sponge on the Titanic.

My takeaways:
1. We've got ourselves one helluva keeper
2. The squad depth is maybe a bit stronger than we gave it credit for.
3. I loved the way we played for the first 20 minutes. Beautiful attacking football.
4. I loved the fact we continued to try and play our game with 10 and then 9 for 30 minutes.
5. Our fans are incredible <applause>
6. Oliver is a ****.
7. VAR is ruining the game.
8. Chelsea are ****
9. Udogie needs to learn from two acts of stupidity. But he's a young lad playing in a febrile atmosphere. (See also 7. above)
10. Romero is a brainless twat and his apparent maturity shown this season has been shown to be a false dawn. Such a great potential but not if he's going to be a liability.
11. Losing VdV for several weeks could be the worst aspect of the night.

You'll have fun , but somewhere down the line the suicide narrative will grow and ange will be dissected by the media.
Saturday v wolves will be very interesting to see how we play. Whether Ange sticks to his guns or alters his tactics due to the personnel changes

Thanks for the usual at three point lane.

In all seriousness, you guys are in for a great ride with how ange has you playing. You looked still so dangerous when you attacked and the high line was holding out surprisingly well.

You have some key players coming back but you have also lost some key players today so will be interesting how you guys fair going forward

Good to see several not606 users some of us thought were dead, are still alive.

Weirdly this game doesn't actually tell us anything about the team going forward, other than the obvious lesson that Michael Oliver is a useless **** which we (presumably) learned three or four years ago

He is not my favourite but whilst yes, he could/should have booked Sterling for diving, but our players made his job easy there is no defending Romero or Udogie, and they (and several Chelsea players) had much worse matches than Mr Oliver.

I reckon it will be royal and Dier centre defence for the next game. Dier came out with a lot of credit and in the next few weeks we will need his experience
One thing that does have to be said for Ange is that, so far this season, he's managed to give most of last season's misfits something they can go out on with their heads held high

First it was Sanchez having a solid performance for 70ish minutes against Bournemouth that erased what happened the previous time he played against Bournemouth, while Dier and Hojbjerg tonight were a 180 from their status as last season's kicking posts

Off the top of my head he missed
- James elbowing Udogie in the face
- Diving being a bookable offence for Sterling
- Mudryk was casually fouling from the moment he came on

He was never in control of the match, in fact he made Mark Clusterfuck's performance at Stamford Bridge in 2016 look almost like somebody once told him the word "competence" exists, yet he was reluctant to card any of them until far too late in the game

Once again, we can thank Norbert for that, as we've had players kicking lumps out of us for weeks going unpunished all because of his pissing and moaning

The beauty of the next two games is that in "season compass"
terms they are "free throws" . In terms of play, they will not
be able to play a high line, but they should all have plenty
of mins of training in their legs with the overall system.

You ought to look in on my prediction league. Bobby is there every week.

Think it may have been a joke that i haven't posted in a while until we won.

I have been quite busy recently and also got back from hk this morning so haven't been on much.

Besides posting prediction league of course as i let you down last year. Wasn't going to do that again this year <ok>
