Certain games are more significant than others. Winning today was more important than the fixture looked on paper.
I fear that Frank set us up not to lose, far too defensively. And it has back-fired.
Hopefully he learn a from this.

I disagree. We've had plenty of the ball in and around their box, the problem is once it gets into a good position no one knows what to do with it.

Tel and Odobert might as well wear a sign on their chest telling the defender what they're going to do.

Neither Tel nor Odobert should be starting. Xavi is the exception imo.

Been **** though, mate. Not for the first time either.

We’ve needed him to fill the void that’s been left by Maddison and Kulu’s injuries and for the most part he’s looked like filling the Harry Winks void.

He has at least shown some glimpses of the ability to play at this level. Not many I grant you. But in comparison to the other two.....<laugh>

Bentancur completely irrelevant to proceedings from the 5th minute onwards.

Infuriating that we gave him a new contract.

I’m hoping it’s just teething problems but he’s done little to dispel the worries I had when we signed him.

Those three have cost us about £110m, that’s on top of the £125m on Richarlison and Solanke too. Some painful attacking signings in recent years, thank **** Kudus has been a success so far.

11 defeats in 18 home games.

it’s grim reading.
We need a serious kick up the arse in our attacking play.
I’m also not convinced the return of Kulu, Maddison and Solanke will provide as much relief as some think.
Kulu yes. Maddison and Solanke? Personally I haven’t been convinced by either of them since they joined us.

They're not world-beaters, that's for sure.

But they are a huge step up from the alternatives.

Solanke not so much but we badly miss Maddison in my opinion. Even when he’s not playing great he still has it in him to score or provide a defence splitting pass. Think he’s been a huge miss so far. No one can do what he does at the moment.

One thing I wish the club would change is the way they announce the other team.
It's seriously disrespectful to read them out so quickly that you can not make out what's being said and imho must give them added reasons to want to show us what's what.
We've had 2 ex players return in games I've been to this season (Walker and Doherty) and neither was welcomed back as we used to do.

Ain't saying that's why we lose at home but it makes us look classless imo

I’d rather we all forgot Doherty played for us to be honest.

Pound for pound one of the worst players I’ve laid my eyes on in a Spurs ****.

Utterly depressing.

After a perfect start we offered little all game and if Kudus isn’t firing we offer nothing attacking wise.

Loads of pace and purpose but awful end product. Tel and Oderbert the ultimate culprits but Xavi’s performances are getting worrying too .

He probably excels in the Rondo training drills pinging the ball around in a triangle but hes not offering anything of note yet in the matches.

Solanke who I admit isn’t a top tier CF but for me him returning can’t come quick enough we just don’t have anyone upfront who can hold the ball up. Who knows Muani might be the guy but he looks miles off at the moment

Our home form is such a concern it’s appalling. We ain’t getting in the top 4/5 unless we improve at the lane.

Badly missed Romero too today also without him we just don’t have anyone who can make those line breaking passes.

Finally i get Danso has a beast of a long throw but how many times did it slow the pace of the game today for us ? I think it’s a good weapon from time to time but I just wanted a quick shorter throw in occasionally.
