No news yet, but Dragusin, Kulusevski, Maddison and Solanke are all long-term injured.
Bissouma and Davies were hurt on international duty, but the extent is as yet unknown.
Neither side has any suspensions.

Spurs:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Palhinha; Kudus, Simons, Odobert; Tel.
Subs: Kinsky, Spence, Danso, Davies, Gray, Bergvall, Sarr, Johnson, Richarlison.
League form: WLWDDW.

Villa: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne; Bogarde, Kamara; McGinn, Rogers; Malen, Watkins.
Subs: Bizot, Lindelof, Maatsen, Onana, Barkley, Jimoh-Aloba, Elliott, Buendia, Guessand.
League form: LLDDWW.

Ref: Simon ****ing Hooper. VAR: Paul ****ing Tierney. **** off.

TV: Sky Sports.

How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?

Solanke still a while away.

RKM is available. I'm eager to see him in action.
Me too....the report from the bcd game the other night was positive enough.

I thought I'd read somewhere that Solanke was nearly back? Thought it unlikely after having had surgery, and I hope they don't rush him back.

Frank confirmed that he is back on the grass, but currently training on his own. Based on that, I'd estimate we'll be lucky to see him play a full 90 before December.

Anyone know when or why the BBC stopped referring to us by our full name?

pretty sure i remember reading that the club issued a statement to the media about calling us by our full name instead of just as Tottenham.
Maybe its cos the bbc can't fit both names in ?

Yeah that’s correct, media and pundits/ commentators have been asked to call us either Spurs or Tottenham Hotspur. It’s petty as **** to be honest, I often say “Tottenham” when people ask who I support, that used to come with a bit of a head down expression in recent years in fear of being mocked but now I follow it with “you know, the Europa League champions”.

If your club name cannot keep cadence with the
'and it's X, X FC' song template, your club is lower class
(lucky for some that X = 'Woolwich wanderers' works, eh) .

I support that English club the current CL holders
cannot currently beat without a penalty shoot-out.

< you'll never sing that >
