That's bollocks though as they'll count Wednesday as easy cos they're newly promoted but we all know how newly promoted sides can carry momentum over.

Think I'd have preferred a 'tougher' start anyway as I'm expecting us to take a month or two to find out feet.

Yeah it is by no means an exact science - still probably some truth to it.

I agree that we might take a while to find our feet, but I'd rather that be against "easier" teams so we can get some points on the board and ease the pressure

Just seen Preston is midweek too :(

Might have to cancel my season ticket at this rate, already had to write off 4/5 of the 13 potential new grounds and I'm only in October <laugh>
 
Slightly annoying that three away games I wanted to do are all in the first three away games, but ah well.

Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth? Yes please
 
Only away I am likely to get to is Bristol City and predictably it’s a Tuesday night, oh well should be good either way.
 
Oh spiffing QPR away is two days before Christmas when there's probably going to be train strikes left, right and centre.

On the flip side if we don't pick up many points early on and then go into a tough run of games then autos will already be a tough ask.
