We'll see the end part of a much larger flow of funds which most directly relates to the football club, yes.

 

I suspect we won't always be going 3 at the back, but yes, if Smith is going out we may need more cover either way.

 

I'd have no problem keeping Smith as backup but he's going to develop better playing every week

 

Be interesting where Jevon ends up think he’s the next big thing coming through.

 

It's crazy that's he's only 18, National League would be a great start this season. Maybe give him 6 months and see how he does

 

Needs to be the right club which will commit to playing him also though.

 

That's a worry. We need a creative midfielder/winger, defensive midfielder and right back imo

 

We could loan him out to say villa so he gets experience for next season.

 

I think they're all a given, I'd throw in a CB too if we plan to play 3 at the back

 

He had a really good loan at Falkirk, can see him in League 2 personally. Matty Jacob will follow to that level if he gets fit and probably Jake Leake too

 

I suspect that's what we'll get.

Shota's reply was '1 or 2 more' when asked how many. He was just batting the question away.

Baz is suggesting a couple more at least.

 

Yeah I forgot about CB definitely need depth there, maybe even a starter for Jones who can carry the ball better. Is it a given when Acun is hinting one and Shota 1/2

 

Youssouf can play DM and CB if we're still in for him.

 

I just want them playing weekly so I don't mind dropping levels a bit to be playing regular.

We've seen with Callum Jones how quickly a talented young kid can go stale.

On another note, Elliott Bonds has just signed a 2 year extension at Cheltenham and by all means was really good for them last year. He got that bad injury but he may turn out to be one that got away

 

Acun might mean 1 addition knowing what he has already lined up dunno.

Well Baz has said he reckons 3/4 and that seems right.

Nobody can watch the game today and think we only need 1 or 2. That bench had nothing on it. I know there were injuries but we'll have injuries throughout the season too

 

Bench was strange tonight. I imagine Baxter, Jones, Longmann had nigles. But why no Wilks/Cannon? Can only assume both are nearing moves away

 

Maybe niggles too, it's always tough to tell in pre season. But if they have gone, we're going to have a right struggle to put 2 sides out at the weekend. Well, they'll be lots of young players involved.

We're already light in midfield and we probably need 2 additions there

 

This one has gone quiet and I’m quite disappointed if it doesn’t come off. He seems a real talent.
