Match Day Thread Saints vs Turkeyham Hotsprouts - Dec 28, 15:00

Came back to watch the game expecting a turkey and ham pie but Mrs Jab had knocked up a red curry. We were spicy today too. Coconut milk is about to go in I've had a bowl as it is, bloody lovely as was the result.

Felt like he was trying to reach Broja who was hanging around in that area but it didn’t quite click, didn’t notice him doing that much prior to Broja coming on.

In fact he released a cracking early ball in the first half, the kind you basically never see as a Saints fan usually.
I saw it, if am not mistaken, and very close to putting AA clean through

Have to say that having seen the offside decision then it's an absolute joke tbh, and along with the other wrongly disallowed goal I can see why they're upset.

Oh well.

Everyone was great today apart from Salisu. JWP looks back to his best, KWP was great, Perraud solid, Jan had his best game for ages, Diallo immense, Adam worked bloody hard on the left, Shane provided an outlet until he went off and worked his socks off. Game wasn't really ideal for Stuey in the 2nd half but he looked good in the first. And big Fraser was immense in goal. Valery MOTM for me. That was a real gutsy performance from him and the whole team.
Salisu set up our goal don’t forget. I agree his tackle on Son was reckless but his first yellow wasn’t even a foul.

Well Gentlemen and Ladies, despite our differences at times, i think we can conclude the boys ate still fighting for the club, fans and maybe us. I am the most optismic as a Saints fan since Koeman left.

Ralph will lead us to highs. Ralph will lead us to unbelievable lows.

Ralph will not lead us to numbness (Hughes,, Puel, Pellegrino)

I havet o believe in this journey, even if Newcastle do us 0-4, which they won't.

Under Ralph, we get better, slowly, slowly, have patience my friends

Maybe, maybe not but the way Salisu was lunging in all over the place was bound to draw the referee's attention. Needs to calm down a bit!
No arguments there, just pointing out that he did make a contribution before he got sent off.

Yep, I was desperately hoping he could hold on until half time without getting a red. He did a monster sliding lunge tackle after his first yellow, which thank god actually got the ball, but it really could have easily gone clattering into the player instead.
