    Spurs fans going ballistic on BBC comments page. Saints parked the bus, referee totally biased against Spurs, VAR totally biased against Spurs, Ali was and is a waste of space, Conte picked wrong players. Spurs won 3-1. Apart from that they enjoyed the match.

    He was delighted that Hooper had been taken off this game, and the magnificent Anthony Tottenham Taylor was given it.

    I know VAR has its critics, but it really helped provide one of the most amusing moments at St Mary's in 2021. The moment when that goal was ruled out after the celebrations and the flare chucked onto the pitch will live a long time in my memory. <laugh>

    Got a feeling, big Frazer was kicking it there on purpose. Waste a bit of time and allow us to organise. How often have we seen before a keeper kick it to the centre circle and in less than ten seconds it is in.our net

    I couldn't see the Spurs fans with all the smoke from the flare! the flare was the key. It just made the whole thing hilarious! And the fact it was Spurs helped too.

    Everyone was great today apart from Salisu. JWP looks back to his best, KWP was great, Perraud solid, Jan had his best game for ages, Diallo immense, Adam worked bloody hard on the left, Shane provided an outlet until he went off and worked his socks off. Game wasn't really ideal for Stuey in the 2nd half but he looked good in the first. And big Fraser was immense in goal. Valery MOTM for me. That was a real gutsy performance from him and the whole team.

    Felt like he was trying to reach Broja who was hanging around in that area but it didn’t quite click, didn’t notice him doing that much prior to Broja coming on.

    In fact he released a cracking early ball in the first half, the kind you basically never see as a Saints fan usually.
