I think it was more people could see that a top class keeper might see themselves being pushed into second place by Ramsdale if and when he returns, so they might be reluctant to come here.

 

I still think we should have sold Ramsdalle rather than loaned him personally.

It strikes me as that thinking too far ahead thing, worrying about what might happen after promotion rather than focusing on actually getting promoted.

I genuinely don't think Ramsdale did that well for us. Goes without saying that he's better than what's currently on offer but he's by no means our best goalkeeper in recent years. I'd put him about the same level as Boruc.

Yes but Bazunu more so. The number of shots where the keeper ‘should do better’ will be higher with Baz than McCarthy. I don’t know how to quantify this, would mean going through every goal they both concede and every save made and deciding how many of each others goals they would let in and how many they would save. Which is of course subjective.

 

Ramsdale subbed on 77th minute, conceded 2 and Bees won 3 - 1.

Sorry to go off topic again but having met ChilcoSaint a couple of times, in my opinion, he is a top bloke, the same goes for Tom.

There are many posters on here with strong and different opinions and that is interesting and healthy.

I wouldn't want to be a mod, not going to please everyone all of the time but needed when things get personal.

Anyway McCunu, a mix of McCarthy shot stopping and Bazunus distribution for me.

 

And this was always the problem with loaning him rather than selling him

I think that this room is well modded even of i do find Tom to be amongst more fiesty people pting here. It is good fun and i like reading the different comments. Most people seem ok in here and i do not mind the legpulls. It is good to read different opinions.

I have not met anyone from here but have messaged a few personally over the years. You never know people's circumstances and therefore try to avoid being personal.

Most of the football opinions are appreciated as there are many who have a far better knowledge than myself. There are a few who can be personal and should know better although i think there are reasons why Os and IOAG could be excused , the first for his / her youth and the second because of their thin skin

 

No I mean what have you actually seen? Do you have any evidence that people don’t like Bazunu because of his race?
