The only fair way forward is to award the race the the car that was marginally ahead when the incident behind safety car occurred. There, sorted.
 
Yep, Mercedes don't make electric cars, and the others they make are not 85% recyclable, oh ... Not yet mentioned, but Hamilton showed a lot of class yesterday in congratulating the Belgian. :emoticon-0100-smile
 
That was the first race I think I’ve ever watched it could very well be the last.

Let me get this right……with 5 laps to go Hammo is well ahead ( 11 seconds) of Verstapo and there’s no way he’s going to get caught.

Some other driver crashes due to being a bit **** and the safety car comes out, enabling Verstapo but not Hammo to switch to better tyres.

Race restarts with the 11 second lead wiped out and Verstapo wins due to his tyre change and the lead being nullified.

Really?

I’m not keen on Hammo and have no opinion on Verstapo but that’s shambolic at best.

it makes no sense.

Has anyone questioned the improved performance of hamiltons car in the last few races? the one where he had to start further back on the grid and still won (?)

Hamilton could have changed his tyres when the safety car came out, his team chose not to.
