They had no option but to go,they had left us virtually bankrupt.None of us will ever forget getting to the Premier League for the first time but the fact remains that we are in the situation we are at present because of that success?Duffen and Bartlett didn't do things to antagonise fans, they got us to the Premier League for the first time in our history and they were gone within a few months of things going pear shaped, not remotely comparable.
To be clear,Allam hasn't left a lasting impression on me either,he's antagonised us all at times but I didn't see a queue of potential saviours offering to take on the debt.Of course things have went pear shaped and show no sign of easing but to withdraw support of a Club I've supported for 51years is a step too far for me and fans ditching the Club in terms of financial support is hardly a glowing advertisement to a potential buyer. Each to their own of course but I see the Clubs name being sullied from all angles and a potential buyer may be some way off if the spat continues.
