Actually establishing an alibi is providing evidence that you were somewhere else at the time the crime. What they’re doing there is raising reasonable doubt.

It's almost hopeless trying to quantify Donald's performance here, it has been so poor.

" Getting the finances straight" is easy to do if all you do is cut , cut and cut again, without any clear idea of how the business will operate with less cash and people. This can be done and is done, but it takes a proper strategic medium to long term plan and a skilled managerial team. These two requirements were clearly missing, and of course still are.

But, if we all wanted one example of the pitiful bad management during Donald's tenure, we only have to look at the strikeforce. Despite spending more ( pretty sure of this), than any other team in the league, we have strikers inferior to most of the other teams in it. That really takes some doing

In case of any confusion @Starsky isn't posting his own opinions, it's a message he was sent by a friend.

He sent it to me weeks ago but I respected his confidence and said nowt. I'm glad he's decided to post it as he's a good friend and totally genuine.

I'm sure he'll be made welcome as most people are ...

... he deliberated for quite some time before posting having seen the flak some receive.

    Hello All

Just joined, been following for sometime. Followed the lads for 35 years plus & praying we get this over the line as its worst position we have ever been in, if we dont get it over the line it might be our last chance of competing again

Would like to thank all those who post ITK info & obviously take it as it was given in good faith, also considering any information could fall through.

understand there are some right tools who have a go at this info, from my point of view i hope you keep posting what you hear.

this might be more a one for GOM, but no chance am i asking it over there. Lets say SD & whoever keep a % in the club like is being put forward at the moment. surely if new investors come in & put X into the club after they have purchased shares, SD & co will have to do the same to their equivalent % or their share % will decrease.

For us to return to the PL we would have to assume a lot of money will need investing, if SD & can afford to invest part of the way i just cannot see how they have enough to continue until we as a club are worth serious money.

especially if FFP came in & wanted to start what was mentioned by Smug last year with developing the surrounding area, how could SD chip his share in? without is share % dropping to nearly zero anyway.

unless of course SD has not though about this or thinks he is going to blag along the way without chipping in? serious investors / money men will not be fooled by that

ITKs any idea how this will work from what you have heard?

    cheers

@Starsky I'll apologise if you think that the post was aimed at you, I was offering an explanation of why Donald is thought of the way he is. If you wish to forward the comments to your mate, then I have no objections. Oh and welcome to the forum

I’ll second this. My comments were an opinion on the information within the post and not an attack on the poster. Welcome to the board Starsky.

  12. I would imagine that the points you raise have been one of the major discussion areas during the talks and may be why things have taken as long as they have.
Imo,this could all be solved by creating another class of share,eg: preference shares, and which are commonplace and come with different entitlements.

I’ll third this. Ditto. My comments were an opinion on the information within the post and not an attack on the poster. Welcome to the board @Starsky
Welcome also to @The Professor , I share your thoughts on how Donald expects to keep a small % when due to his incompetence £50m odd investment is required

I agree this has been the things that's really pissed me off years of work down the drain.

Mind in league one there definitely some of those lads would have left regardless, not as many as have though. I reckon they really thought kids good enough to playing for prem academies would accept £500 a week when they can get 2 grand elsewhere.

I suspect this may part of the whole hold up and discussions. If they are wanting to keep a %, will they then be expected to put in that % for future investments. It is probably them wanting their cake and eat it so to speak. I have no doubt that they wont want to put another penny in unless they can help it but would quite like a cut of the cake if we ever get back to the premier league.
I am sure CM wont want to put in 6% of what it would cost to get back there. He has good contacts but not bottomless pockets.

    welcome aboard mate.

my own opinion is that they should grab what they can and get out, if they are trying to be billy big bollox with the likes of FPP they will surely suffer in the long run (inmo)...these lads and similar businessmen know every score and every trick and are happy to play the waiting game and bleed them slowly if need be, although i also think the likes of FPP would be willing to offer a good deal rather than coming on all heavy and right now this is what SD is relying on.

plain and simple, as the likes of smug, prehab etc have basically stated...he cannot sustain the current losses especially with absolutely no idea when/if the main source of income (the fans) will be allowed back, he has little to no option and imho even less bargaining power and for his own benefit he needs to deal and go...this hanging on to keep some small say in things hoping for that big pay-off to come will be his undoing.

It must be soul destroying for bright young lads to watch two virtually identical 'strikers' in the first team squad. Switching Graham for Wyke is puerile and playing them both pointless. If you don't believe you should start the game with them, when you need to score, what's the point of playing them together when time's running out.

I'd agree, some people never seem to have a laugh, it's all so intense.

The Kittens character was believed to be him at one time, just relentless page long attacks, with graphics and 'quotes', claiming virtual theft. Then he went into a phase of totally defending Donald before going back on the attack.

The internet is a wonderful thing but you do encounter some strange characters.

This statement sounds like its from Charlie Methven...uses words/phrases heard before on interviews and trying to control the narrative
