In my opinion the technicalities are irrelevant for most people mate.
Donald stays = investment
Donald goes = takeover
Donald & Methven go = total takeover
Arguably if Madrox still own the club after any changes happen there has been no takeover at all.
Not my view but I can imagine some people spinning that line if and when anything does happen!
Well as much as I have a lot of time for you it's you that's started this back and forth in a bit confused I have to be honest, maybe my intention of actually being humble enough to reference my source of information has come across to you as an attempt to steal some limelight from others, I can assure you that's not the case, I'm happy to let this be water inner the bridge but it would be a mistake to think this is me rolling onto my belly so you can rub it.
I'm sure we can just forget about it and move in if you're in agreement.

I have watched this thread since the beginning of this, or as I like to refer to it as our very own MSD-DAY, and have been dreaming of seeing you do that smug little dance and my heart flutters every time

... just with various current names above the door.
I saw it this way, shares being pumped in and transferred inside the parent company, therefore not a takeover, but as Smug said, we can believe it to be a takeover if the board has shifted essentially

The problem I have with Bob is that he's so vague that whatever information he's giving is completely pointless. I mean, let's just say that this is a huge deal for the club with Sartori and Fuhrman taking shares, all Bob was doing was saying "there's no takeover", or replying "what takeover" to people when they mentioned it. You'd think he'd be able to convey a bit of excitement /positivity about it. Instead you'd think it was absolutely nowt.
Far too often it's one line posts that no one could decipher, followed by loads of "aye, he's PMd me". Always reads like a clique whose members want everyone to know that they've heard something but without actually sharing it in a way that makes sense. Contrast it to smug, prehab and rubberface; regardless of whether you believe their information, at least they give decent detail about it so you know whether it's likely to be looking positive and in some cases can guess at the names involved. Let's just hope something positive happens like, we're well overdue some good news!

It would seem strange for them to be so bogged down in saying it isn't a takeover if there was going to be such major changes mind. I mean, Short just bought Drumaville didn't he? Never heard anyone even suggest that he hadn't actually completed a takeover! If Donald goes, and especially if someone likes Fuhrman comes in, then any reasonable person would always have called it a takeover!

If somebody else owns Madrox, which owns SAFC, then it’s a takeover of the holding company and therefore a takeover of the club, surely?
Even if it’s Satori, if he becomes the major shareholder of Madrox, then that’s a takeover, as the controlling interest has changed.
If someone buys the majority of a business and therefore control of the business, that’s a takeover whichever way you carve it up.

Some people will argue, to the death, that there's been no takeover because they'd hate to have been wrong.
