Storey just isn’t going away like...

If our bid successful we will publish a 20 point plan for the club on the day we take control. We have conducted a root & branch audit of the club & want our plans on the academy, recruitment, ticket prices & growth strategy to be public. The fans are the club.

I believe he has some kind of offer in but stands no chance, I hope

It was just a joke man.

Magnus is a decent lad who's posted decent stuff for years.

Just as with me, why would he want to invite a torrent of abuse from slack jawed arseholes.
Eh? I think you've misinterpreted my post. I was asking if its bollox that he was hour former exec. I'm not doubting his info. :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Aye it was nice mate, especially as I’ve been shielding since March, Berwick has lovely beaches, dog friendly, only 90 mins away, wasn’t busy at all, takeaways to the caravan, Alton towers this weekend

Ideal mate. That whole bit of coast is smashing. In some ways probably get more of a relaxing time due to Covid, often come back from a break needing a break no chance of that at the minute at least <laugh>

Without having to go back through pages and pages, what is the latest info you have on the takeover?

Fuhrman made a very low offer he's stuck to, he's now aligning support from Sartori, etc, Donald is desperate for a better bid, Gray and Storey are nowhere near owning the club. There was a meeting last week and another planned this week. If Donald caves in things could happen quickly.

Thanks mate, sounds like it isn't as far down the line as others suggested.

If you're ever down that way, I'll have a shout and throw in a malt or 3. Hartlepool isn't like the south of France but we have a marina and there's boats to look at! :emoticon-0105-wink:
there may be more to Hartlepool, but as i've only lived here for 37
years couldn't confirm anything.

Shot in the dark but I've always thought there must be more to it than billionaires turning up and just borrowing us 9 million.

Don't think that's a shot in the dark at all as I've thought the same. Why would a few billionaires decide to spend a weekend in Sunderland just to lend 10mil. All the press were reporting it as a takevoer an all so I've always seen the 'loan' as a down payment as it put Fuhrman in the driving seat when it comes to a sale of the club.

Still think it was Don's ego that scuppered it last time but don't think he has enough rope to hang himself twice so am fully expecting some sort of new onwership in the very immediate future.
