All guesswork.

Hope its not that energy bloke mind seems a nutter and looks like a bamp
Couldn’t agree more, according to Nick Barnes on total sport he’s said it’s definitely a take over rather than investment and that due diligence won’t be a problem, it could mean it’s someone who has already done it, like FPP but I’m not getting carried away like I did last year

But why the sudden change of mind? Has SD dropped his price? Admittedly I have just logged on and this is the 1st post I have read today.

More likely the offers been there a long time, and after Stu put that interview out, he’s backed down.

Remember, he cited his wonderful relationship with the Echo, who promptly tore him to shreds in and ‘enough is enough’ article that we all applauded, then ran a poll which was absolutely damning.

I’d speculate there’s been an offer there a while but that chain of events made it clear he couldn’t turn, couldn’t hang on. There’s also the lack of income that he can’t carry.

No idea, SD was rumoured to have wanted to stay involved wasn’t he? Maybe he’s agreed to leave and that’s changed their minds. Or maybe it’s not them at all :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Do you mind if I do? :emoticon-0102-bigsm This would be a real shot in the arm for the club and supporters alike. Apart from FPP, did anyone else carry out full due dilligence?

We have been down this path before that a deal is imminent...and have left bemused when nowt happened!

If it is that 'bampot' with the beard rather than someone/body with plenty of cash we will be out of the frying pan and into the fire!

Gray said they had done dd up until they asked to see the finances

Thanks mate. I would think that seeing the finances would be a fairly important part of DD. So if Barnes is saying that DD won't be a problem, then you would think that it must be someone who has already had access to the accounts, or potentially that could be a problem.

Fill your boots, it’s hard not to tbh.
Not as far as I know, or remember, but there is some suggestion it could be Satoris Father in Law too

Which could also take away the need for due diligence as Sartori would already have access to the books

Just been researching due diligence as I don’t know much about what goes on and this states you can’t start full due diligence until an offer has been accepted : so it must be game on!
