Nixon seems to be suggesting it's just going to be Sartori buying the majority of Donald's shares, which would be very surprising like because he's hardly seemed arsed since he got here
Maybe we might be seeing a lot more of him after all.

I mean it's been a bit odd why he's been here so far - we all accept that - maybe he might have just been sat waiting.

Why didn't he make a move sooner? (if true).. I have no idea other than his Father in Law was in a little bit of trouble if I recall correctly. Not sure if that's over with now but events would make more sense if so. It's been a while since his political hopes were dashed so I think that is less likely to be related.

Can I just say, I am getting carried away, and don't care what anyone says.
It may well be the only chance of optimism for yonks so I'm making the most of it.

Also I've put that hinge spanner on ignore, but his posts are so annoying that they make people reply to them so you see them anyway!

Thanks mate. I would think that seeing the finances would be a fairly important part of DD. So if Barnes is saying that DD won't be a problem, then you would think that it must be someone who has already had access to the accounts, or potentially that could be a problem.
So he's insinuating it's FPP, O'Brien or Sartori...... and I'd add Mickey Gray as an outside shot.

Hopefully Storey coming out of the woodwork is a sign that a deal is near, it's known about in the investment community, and people are throwing daft bids in knowing it's now or never.

What also rings true is.. that snippet of news is enough to placate the fans regards a sale to Storey/Campbell.

The crack over the road is ****ing lifting mind. Trying to see if there's any updates and all you get is tens of posts saying "knaaars" about Madbob, which has to be about the cringiest "banter" going, and that insufferable bellend Mary Hinge piping up every two seconds. How do the mods not realise that it ruins what could be decent threads for people

Shambles isn’t it. I’ve blocked 3 or 4 but it’s still an awful read

€100m tax bill

I can't see Sartori himself getting more involved, he's the senator of Uruguay which must take up all his time. His father in law maybe if he's already got stakes in other clubs.

Couldn’t agree more mate. I’ve had that Mary Hinge on ignore for a while, I don’t know why people engage with him. As for bullshit bob, his sidekick Vauxie is more annoying however I’ll never believe a word that bloke utters.

Tbf I have loads of mags on ignore over there but Mary Hinge is probably the only MLF I have on ignore (apart from Jardine obviously)

I've kept off here because I didn't want to cloud the issue or appear 'all knowing', I'm certainly not.

I've been asking, for almost a week, about these rumours and have had nothing back.

Now I've had a response but really considered how to phrase this because it looks vague, sorry it's the best I can do.

'FPP' have no immediate plans to end their involvement with SAFC. I've no direct confirmation of what that means so it's a little bit of guesswork on my part. The people who've given me this information aren't directly involved, have no significant financial involvement and wouldn't have any contact with people outside of the 'FPP' realm.

There's definitely something happening, people 'I know' are starting to distance themselves from Donald.

As a guess, and believe me this really is a guess ...

... if this progresses Donald would be gone and another 'Donald' would be installed with continued backing from 'FPP'.

I'm inclined to believe it but perhaps that's because it's what I want to happen.

If FPP do take decide to get more involved with the club, I take back any animosity they may have been between us in the other thread

I'm not aware of any mate, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I don't expect anyone, who doesn't know me, to believe a word I say.

I only remember serial persistent stalkers tbh.
