What team owner was so against a new wing that had been designed for his car , that he deliberately kicked / jumped on it to break it ?

There are one or two different versions of the above , but the basics are still fact .

This isn't the answer, but there's a great story about Ferrari challenging the legality of a Red Bull front wing, arguing a feature of it posed a puncture risk.
When the stewards went to inspect said front wing, Charlie Whiting mischievously stepped on it, and broke the offending feature clean off. Whiting then winked at Newey, declared that if it was that flimsy it'd never damage a tyre, and the case was dismissed.

I feel like it's a very Enzo kind of thing to do back in the early wing days. He never liked aero.
