The entire team were heroes for the amount of effort and heart they put in, can't moan at any of them for not putting in a shift. When you consider the might and strength of United's team, and we couldn't even name a full bench, the 2-0 score is fine. You could see at the end so many of them were tired (Abel in particular), I was fearing we would leak more than 1 goal in the last 10 minutes.
The weakest player on our side seemed to be Dio, who gave the ball away or fell over a lot. Meyler struggled after Martial came on - Mourhino seemed to spot how weak we were on the wing and then every time he had the ball Martial was all over him. But they aren't criticisms - they seemed to play to the best of their abilities and that's all we can ask of them.
The injuries are a worry - at this rate why be'll be getting Kuciak on the bench and on the pitch as an outfield player...
As for the Theatre of Dreams - we asked if it was a library, well mausoleum would be more like it. I never knew 70,000 people could be so quiet, it was worse than the KCOM last Saturday!! Proud to be part of the 12th man.

and we've got -- Marco Silva
Sounded much louder and better at the time.
Could we be heard on the telly?
Any one know why Brucie was at the match? Old time's sake or watching one of our players?

In one way I was relieved we didn't win because I said before the game that if we did, I'd buy a half'n'half. I think I was giddy from low blood sugar as I hadn't had my pie at that point...Walking around before the game, it was like being back in Beijing.......hundreds of people taking selfies in their half & half scarfs.
Shame on those who never went.
Shame on those who went and continue to support the owners by doing so.
Shame on everyone in fact.
Does anyone support owners ?
I support 11 guys who run out on the pitch with City shirts on......I don't care who those players are......it could be a team full of Chris Lee's or a Team full of Messi's......its all the same to me and always will be.
I can't recall ever, an owner past or present being part of the starting 11.......maybe Ehab could have taken the spare place on the bench last night to give all 'conscientious objectors' a good excuse for not going lat night !!!!
Stupid twat.
Please accept my apologies Your Highness......for supporting my team !!
Stupid twat.
I must be a stupid twat as well because I liked the post. I understood he was making a point about supporting the team regardless who the owners are. That does not mean to say he likes the owners, just that he does not want to stop going to games because of the owner. How did you read it ???
