NHS is overwhelmed, the money spent on translators is eye watering, immigration is responsible for this both legal and illegal, we have people refusing to integrate but happy to use the NHS that require translators. A simple appointment becomes far more expensive, an NHS translator is paid around 35K a year, thats one language, each hospital could require umpteen translators. It needs overhauling quickly and has been failed by the tories and labour for years.

part of my job is looking at billing,

and the sums, the prices for items, are STAGGERING

if we were to have a private system like the yanks, lots of people wont be able to afford it,

take an asthama inhaler, - just the device alone in america before you had the medicine is nearly $800...

cost of having a baby is 100K!

The government do want the asylum seekers out of hotels, any government would ...

... what would you have done in that instance?
They could’ve at put out the message that whilst it’s not ideal and it’s their long term goal to remove them from hotels but they have to keep them housed there for the time being. I’m sure that will be the intent, assuming of course that it is their intention to move them all out in the first place. They haven’t to the best of my knowledge done that.
I’m also aware that they have a statutory obligation to house asylum seekers so it’s not easy to just turf them out. It just seems to me and many others that this and previous governments aren’t taking their responsibilities to their own citizens as seriously as they should be and private companies like SERCO are exploiting that.
I actually have a lot of sympathy for the residents of Epping.

with Farge saying he will stop the boats within 2 weeks of being elected will sway a few voters,

my worry with him is, his plans for the NHS,

single greatest thing about the UK and if it gets privatise...
He also won’t stop the boats. They’ve already said it won’t and can’t happen within two weeks - it been taken back and the navy have said they chat and won’t do it. A reform voter said yesterday they want two navy boats and big net across the channel. It’s ridiculous and will be found out for what it is.

That's exactly what they did.

The question remains, what do you do with these people.

People keep saying Farage has the answers but he won't say what they are.

I'm 100% sure the government would love this all to end, it's a dreadful situation.

The Reform campaigner who suggested they just let the migrants drown probably, inadvertently, outlined their entire policy.

The Navy won't have anything to do with Farage's ridiculous ideas, they've made that clear.

His idea of concentration camps would probably be as costly as hotels tbh ...

... or would these people be denied food, heating, medical care, tents, bedding, etc.

Would there be expensive security firms employed, firms to provide and distribute clothing, etc.

Some of these 'solutions' are absolutely ludicrous tbh.

The world is so messed up right now. Never in my lifetime has it been more dangerous and unpredictable. Its as if the leaders around the world have come together to form some kind of perfect storm. The hope is we all get through this to see them all replaced by grown ups. Alas, that's not gonna happen anytime soon with the likes of Trump, Putin, Xi, Un, Meloni, Orban, and likes of Farage, le Pen, AfD in Germany etc etc waiting in the wings ... We are in for a turbulent time going forward.
I believe ever person in the world want the same as us an easier life, not much to ask,
None of them are prepared to give it so that’s why the likes of Farage will get in, the public have had enough of the two faced buggers who are our politicians.

So the answer is to elect a two faced politician who doesn’t have any policies …

Makes you wonder want happened to all that NHS money Johnson, Farage and Brexit promised us .....
It has only been 5 years since we left the EU, numerous governments before that have brought the NHS to its knees, Brexit has not caused the issues we now have, years of Tory & Labour governments have left us with this mess, I love our NHS and think we should be very proud of it but its broken, god knows how we fix it and I wouldnt know where to start.

I saw a clip of Farage saying it would be ''within two weeks of changing the laws'' I'm guessing law changing would take forever, with constant appeals and challenges

I don’t believe Farage will get anywhere near number 10… he’s courting publicity right now, but bit by bit he is being found out… the man is the ultimate fraud and a pathological liar

Think its just Russia not giving a toss about airspace, Ukraine was the target not Poland.
Yeah. Not intending to attack Poland but just shows a lack of care.

don’t think it changes much, see what the meeting from NATO says, I imagine it’ll be a stern warning to putin

Sky news putting a hyperlink saying ‘nato says drone incursion was intentional’

when clicking the link the last thing nato said was that they refused to comment on whether it was intentional or not but an assessment is going on. <doh>
