Marcus Edwards wants to return to England.

According to @Record_Portugal, Sunderland and Burnley asked for the Leo winger - Sporting is willing to negotiate between €8 and €10M.

Edwards was quoted at €30 million in June 2023, according to Transfermarkt.

I would piss myself with joy if we signed Edwards.

Left sides, loves to rub and can shoot. Slight failing in that he isn’t especially quick in winger terms but he certainly isn’t Roberts level slow.

He has played central occasionally and as a LM as opposed to LW as well, and on the right.

He would be a superb add. I love Roberts but would be a big upgrade. He ghosts players for fun and plays early balls in.

That's not true. All our signings and outgoings have been reported on at least a few days in advance outside of Alese and Seelt in recent years.

Probably but Ballard was all set to go to Burnley before we nipped in and I think Seelt might have been too. It’s not inevitable we miss out if we really want him.
